Sessions 1-2 engineered by Konstantin Petrov "KEi" at his flat, recorded by KiNK and KEi in 1998. Rekids introduces a new vinyl only series titled Rekids Special Projects. A more techno orientated division of the label that will feature appearances from the likes of John Hester, Markus Suckut, and DJ Deep amongst others.

First up is Ohio-based producer FBK, real name Kevin M. Kennedy, who has a career spanning three decades and after a seminal release on Frictional Recordings back in the 90's recent releases have seen him appear on labels such as Marcel Dettmann Records, Barba Records and diametric.

Intricate drums and jagged synths initiate ‘You Are Not Fixed’ whilst a looped sample recurs throughout the mix. ‘Dynamonium’ then enters deeper territories as echoing stabs join a low slung meandering groove before ‘Set It Free’ ups the energy with rumbling kicks, distorted vocal murmurs and tantalizing melodies. ‘The Final Escape’ then closes the release with a syncopated drum arrangement, mesmerising chords and ethereal atmospherics.

The man DJ Mag called “Absolutely Unstoppable” and Superfluous Punctuation Magazine called “Worth the Trouble” is back with four dark techno bombs that promise to extend his reign as Tiga’s new best friend for another week at least.

It is difficult to look at ABSOLUTE’s rockin’ rocket ride of a career with anything less than total admiration. This guy’s got all the right moves, plus the Beatport numbers to back it up in court. The follow-up to his hit Twin Turbo debut, Malfunction conjures vintage late-night smoke machine vibes with considerably less effort than it takes to describe them for promotional purposes.

Whether it is building atmosphere and suspense with selections that are hard and intense or moments of melody that grab you. 

Each one of Nathan Jones’s sets are bound together by powerful rhythms, improvised and entwined with the energy of the dance floor. Sharing energy on a journey as one.  

Freedom of expression on a dance floor without boundaries is important to Nathan and he continues to absorb new experiences as a club goer himself, always in search of inspiration and improving his skill as a DJ. 

Since crafting his sound for over a decade and holding down residences throughout the club circuit of his hometown, Dublin. His growing tour schedule has taken him to some of Europe’s most prolific club nights, in cities such as Zagreb, Nantes and Berlin.

His discography consists of two solo vinyl EPs on Vision Collector Records, a two track EP on Argentina’s: Concepto Hypnotico, a vinyl release on Delinquent Delivery Records as well as an upcoming 12” on OGMA records.
