Setting the tone for IN2ITION's 13th release is Los Angeles' own multi-talented Alex Casillas with the tripped out & vacant "Empty" with its trudging tribal low end and psychedelic laser delays. Alex is a DJ, visual artist, photographer and event promoter in the LA area- a true DIY diehard for the culture. He can now add "producer" to that list, as "Empty" is his first official release on a label and IN2ITION couldn't be more thrilled to share this spazzy gem.

Die Tür schlägt zu und die Reise beginnt!
Unser langjähriger Resident Napoleon Dynamite hat mit „MH7“ etwas produziert, was wie ein Soundtrack für diese Situation klingt. Voller Euphorie, ein Gefühl von Aufbruch und ein dichtes Arrangement, was die Party starten und gleichzeitig in die Länge ziehen kann. Die Bassline erzeugt Erwartung, die Melodie bleibt verträumt.

Radio Slave enlists two heavyweights remixes from Dixon and Underground Resistance, who reimagine ‘Trans’ - the twisted, bass-driven cut on Radio Slave’s excellent inaugural album.

First up, Innervisions co-founder Dixon offers an inspired retouch containing an amalgamation of cosmic synth arpeggios, each one unfolding in a unique way as the track develops, supported by a prominent vacillating bassline.

On the flip, Detroit techno pioneers Underground Resistance provide a ‘Hamtramck’ remix features crunchy modulated synths and heavily delayed vocal slices that duck in and out before funk influenced guitar licks resonate alongside a plethora of dark effects.

Radio Slave returns to his Rekids imprint for his first release of 2021, ‘Variations’.

Marking the first release of 2021, Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave turns in four thundering tracks loosely based around a common theme: his signature maximal minimalism mixed with classic dub techno aesthetics.

While his recent anthemic single ‘Live My Life’ displays Edwards’ knack for twisting vocal hooks into main room artillery, ‘Variations’ sees the Berlin-based producer head for room 2, showcasing Edwards ability for crafting devastatingly effective heads-y techno.

After releasing Robert Hood’s incendiary ‘Mirror Man’ LP towards the end of 2020, Rekids is showing no signs of slowing down for 2021. With this release highlighting an artist at the top of his game, ‘Variations’ adds yet another powerful and striking 12” to both the discography of one of electronic music’s most essential labels and one of its most lauded artists.
