Birkham's first single "Memorytrail" poses the question; where is the line between you and the infinite pool of thoughts and experiences drawn? Where do the memories that are flushed from your subconcious go? How fundamental are these recollected experiences to you when it's a struggle to keep them? Birkham's intentions are to try and answer these questions, or at least provide a comfort for those getting lost on this trail.

29 y/o Mike Jones previously wrote music as Former Hero until 2023, after feeling the project had run its natural course. It's often best to end a career on a personal high, and let the music live on with those who loved it. But after 6 months, his drive to create returned, with a newfound focus. Fusing elements of emo, UK club, techno and ambient, 'dancing through the sadness' is the number one goal for Birkham, whilst still leaving a large emotional landscape to rest in when a break is needed.
