First up for our MixX and Podcast series is @Tadan127 who is based in London but originally comes from the mystical Shaman town of Kuršėnai. Not only an outstanding producer and the creator of MANA001 but also a class A digger and DJ + head honcho of @area127, a place focused on artist collabos and rough live takes while catching the flow, the moment. "AH&N is an a anonymous artist from France driven by curiosity and a quest to develop his musical instinct.

Incorporating both analog gear, digital synths, and field recordings, AH&N tries to build an expanding sonic universe and craft tracks that blend the frontier between organic and synthetic soundscapes.

His creative process relies mainly on playful experimentation with sound sources and effects until a particular texture catches his attention. He then looks to help that musical idea unfold naturally, as if it spontaniously called for other elements to complement it, while doing his best to prevent his overthinking tendencies from having a say. He feels this intuition-based approach relies on the time he spends nurturing his musical curiosity, and he is deeply grateful for the many boundary-pushing artists that inspire him by constantly offering new variations of established concepts.

He is interested in the meditative dimension of repetitive and textured music, as well as in the collective hysteria that can arise during trance-inducing musical journeys. He believes carefully crafted music can help listeners establish a deep connection with the present moment, and guide people in learning to let go and find inner peace. An ethos reflected in his artist name, "Attention. Here & Now.", a reference to writer Aldoux Huxley.

The album is centered on an imaginary ritual of inward exploration, meant to uncover buried facets of our psyche. Through a solitary ceremony, it reveals our disconnection from ourselves and encourages us to surrender to our shadows, so as to, hopefully, get one step closer to stillness.

It begins with a gentle invitation to enter our unconscious, using a language of sound that echoes a long-forgotten collective memory. As the tracks progress, the ritual brings us to deeper layers of our minds. Soundscapes morph and seem increasingly alien, the frontier between known and unknown becomes blurred, while ultimately we are simply brought to face a reflection of our inner selves."

In september we got invited to host an afternoon at the Amsterdam-based Radio Station RADIO HINTER. We will be releasing some of the performances as part of the [DISSECTION] series. 

[DISSECTION] is a mix series where various artists show their personal spice and flavor. Presenting its 17th chapter, featuring an evocative journey by Blain. He masterfully stitches together dreamlike layers, crafting a rich tapestry of sound that invites you into a mesmerizing trance.
