"The set is all playful, dubby, tecky, with some psy vibes and also a bit of deep and introspective bits. I played on a hot, sweaty afternoon during day 2—just as the sun was starting to cool down and the music heads that made up this special crowd were starting to get in all their feels. LOIF took over after me with his live set, carrying us into the darker hours of the night with his sexy psy vibes. It was such a magical moment, and I’m so glad to have it captured in this recording!"

“There is a certain smell in a room when the set is good. Your body notices it immediately. It’s a delicate mix of many variables. The sound needs to have all the layers and depth, then it acts like glue. People need to be present so that whenever you lock eyes with someone, you feel grounded. The bodies have got to be responding to music in a way natural for them, and then the bodily fluids start seeping into the air. But all of this can only happen when the music is delivered honestly. With love, intention, opinion opinion, and with a real dedication to sharing and connecting. I felt that when Madeleine and Daniel were playing on Ankali’s 8th Anniversary. The room smelled like the perfect set – and with that, you can’t go wrong. It fuels you to give even more.”

Next up in our mix series is our good friend Kasper Marott - a DJ, producer, promoter and label head based in Copenhagen. Kasper is one of the heads behind the record label and event series Axces, as well as the beloved Copenhagen party series Haldisk and Essence, and the iconic Kune Festival. Since his debut in 2014, Kasper has shown his skill to produce ecstatic yet reflective tracks with a clear voice over and over. With his highly refined taste across genres he has also proven to be a unique talent as a DJ – his ear for the percussive elements of music is of a rare kind and his DJ sets sliding easily between moods, tempos and styles.

In this mix, Kasper taps into his techno-infused realms with a 3+ hour journey of uplifting euphoria at its finest. Rolling psychedelia meets ecstatic dubby delights, delivered with the unmistakable touch only Kasper can bring. He expertly masters taking the listeners through highs and lows seamlessly, in a fluid dance between tension and release, as a sonic exploration that balances chaos and control, bliss and introspection.
