Joining hands with Not by Rituals Records, Comet Premieres is excited to present their debut release, the Inefable EP by the incredibly talented Argentinian organic house producer Brian David. This stunning EP features an exceptional remix from Kazko that you won’t want to miss!

Born in May 1990, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Brian David Influenced by bands like Depeche Mode, Radiohead and DJs/Producers from the electronic scene like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Lee Burridge among other talents that marked his style. His sound is a combination of elements of house, deep and organic music, it has been well received by the public and critics. His sets are known for their energy and ability to get the crowd dancing. 

Making an impact on major labels on the scene such as The Purr, Stellar Fountain, Anoka, Where The Shadow Ends, Keyfound, among others. The sound he achieves, strident, surrounded by melodies that add subtlety to his mixes, managed to grab the attention of great references such as Fernando Ferreyra, Weird sounding dude, miraculum, Mauro Masi, Plecta, Julian liander. 

Likewise, in his dealings he shared a booth with artists such as Andrea Cassino, Nicolas Rada, Paula Os, Mauro masi, Valdovinos among others. With a constant commitment to improve and learn, Brian continues to work on his music and refine his technique, always searching for new sounds and forms of expression. With a career in constant evolution.

Kazko, born in Colombo,Sri Lanka, has established himself as a significant force in the world of Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and Organic House.  Having moved to Australia, Kazko has continued to evolve his sound and broaden his influence in the music scene. Inspired by the legendary sounds of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Sasha, and Guy J, Kazko's music is a blend of emotive melodies and driving rhythms that captivate listeners and ignite dance floors. 

His productions have garnered support from top-tier artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Richie Hawtin, John Cosani, Mariano Mellino,and many others. Kazko's discography includes releases on prestigious labels such as The Soundgarden / Juicebox / Mango Alley / Enormous Tunes (Enormous Moments) / Onedotsixtwo / Songuara / Amulanga Records / Digital Emotions / and Clubsonica .

The latest offering from RKP finds label boss Ruben Karapetyan returning for a new single. Since returning to the world of electronic music in 2020, Armenia born, Los Angeles based artist Ruben Karapetyan has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence in the progressive house arena. With a sound that carefully balances a retro-modern style, Ruben has racked up a superlative string of releases for a host of revered imprints in Mango Alley, Clubsonica and The Soundgarden, in turn earning praise from the genre’s tastemakers. Seemingly in perpetual motion across 2024 while performing alongside Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now as 2025 approaches its second quarter, Ruben returns to his RKP imprint for his first single of the year ‘Moai’, alongside remixes from Hernan Cattaneo & Mercurio, Maze 28 and MakhmuriaN.

Returning to the label for the second interpretation of ‘Moai’ is Maze 28. Hailing from Albania, Mario Zefi aka Maze 28 has become one of the most hotly tipped progressive house artists that the underground has to offer. In just three short years the Durres resident has earned support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while his melodic creations have found a home on Clubsonica, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley, the latter of which operates as his primary home. RKP has also been a landing spot for the talented Albanian, with October of 2023 marking his label debut with ‘This Is Just a Dream’. Remixed by Hernan Cattaneo and Marcelo Vasami, the track quickly rose to the number one position in both the label and artist’s Beatport sellers, where it still sits today. 2024 would see Maze 28 deliver his first original production for RKP, August’s timeless chart breaker ‘Red Lights From Afar’. Now, returning for his second remix, the Albanian talent puts his distinctive stamp on ‘Moai’. Bringing a contemporary state of mind, Maze 28 reassembles the themes from the original for his own uniquely tailored approach. Granular hits, haunting vocal motifs and a finale of balmy melodies co-ax perfectly atop muscular kick drums and key changing grooves, for what results in a tasteful rendition that’s perfect for the dancefloor.

Roger Martinez’s Higher States opens the spring season by welcoming Hobin Rude to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Serbia, Hobin Rude first emerged in 2020 on the strength of a remix for Jelly For The Babies One Of A Kind imprint. His progressive sounds quickly found favour with the genre's premiere tastemakers in Armen Miran, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, eventually leading to releases via Hoomidaas, Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden and WARPP. Also an established DJ, the Belgrade resident has played across the globe, showcasing his keen sense of dancefloor dynamics alongside elite international talents Guy J, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green and Volen Sentir, amongst others. With 2025 already yielding key projects for iNU and Mango Alley, Hobin now adds Higher States to his resume with ‘Lunar Bloom’. 

Beginning with ‘Lunar Bloom’, Hobin showcases a groovy melodic approach which sets the tone for the EP. Full of alluring textures and smooth design qualities, the Serbian phenom expertly blends plush kick drums and warm shapely grooves, with haunted vocal refrains, rebounding rhythms and emerging atmospheres, for a captivating path into the break. Further revealing his creative attitude across the interlude, it’s a cinematic array of texture which emerges to reveal bucolic motifs and plucked melodies for a hopeful moment, before getting washed away in a rush of beats and percussion for an uplifting finale.  

The second and final selection ‘Eclipse Harmony’ finds Hobin collaborating with fellow countryman Nikola Jovanovic. Best known for his releases via Balkan Connection and Deep Down Music, the Belgrade resident pairs wonderfully with Hobin, as the duo forecasts balmy textures and panning effects, atop punchy beats and deep pulsating grooves, for what results in a haunting atmospheric journey that’s perfect for the morning hours.

Luum Records opens the spring season by welcoming Floresta to the label for their debut single. Emi Tazz, Mariano Domínguez and Sonia Veragua make up the Floresta production team, and through combining their creative forces the trio has created a sound all their own. A unique amalgamation of ancestral motifs with contemporary rhythms takes listeners on an explorative journey, one which proves to be both transcendent and memorable. Noted for their borderless approach to productions and live performances, Floresta continues to emerge as 2025 unfolds, making their Luum Records debut with 'Mayan Spirit', alongside a remix from Kris Dur.  

Full of detail and idiosyncrasies, 'Mayan Spirit' is a dimly lit voyage where the group explores a storyboard of lazy mid-tempo grooves, wispy atmospheric swells and meandering vocal coactions, which add a unique soul and emotion to the journey. It's rippling framework while powerful, presents a smooth, cruising vibe across the first act, evoking emotion through slow burn repetition, while dodging expectations and emphasizing conceptual charm, painting idyllic scenes of solitude, as further vocal manipulation and ritualistic motifs unveil a semi-conscious dreamland, perfect for a late night headphone listening session. 

Rounding out the release with the lone interpretation of 'Mayan Spirit' is one of the Luum label bosses Kris Dur. As a DJ first, Kris honed his programming skills at some of Mexico's trendiest venues, oftentimes blurring the lines between progressive, organic and melodic house. Emerging as a producer in 2022, the Mexico City resident quickly notched well-received projects for Freegrant Music and The Soundgarden, in turn earning support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Nicolas Rada and Marcelo Vasami. Now, fresh off an appearance on Mango Alley's 'Augmented 016' collection to begin the year, Kris returns to his primary home in Luum with a gorgeous rendition of 'Mayan Spirit'. Taking a deep yet more direct dancefloor approach, while maintaining the elusive spirit of the original, the Mexico native constructs a chunky rhythmic core, complemented with exotic percussive arrangements, panoramic motifs and timely use of the vocal elements. It’s this amalgamation of sound which ultimately makes for a versatile and club-effective version; a brilliant re-imagination that’s likely to find favor with a broad range of DJs across the coming months. it rounds out a superb third offering from Luum Records, a label which continues to impress as they embark on their fourth release. Highly recommended.
