Emerging mysteriously over the horizon, a new satellite surfaces with Freedo Mosho's sultry Edit of Paul (AR) & Anunnakis' collaborative single, Ancient Moon. Originally released on Selador as a part of The Selador Showcase - The Seventeenth Instalment, the hypnotic dancefloor roller sheds over to a dusky shade under the sonic guidance of the Argentine maestro.

Riding slick, Freedo Mosho's take on Ancient Moon builds patiently in the shadows as it rolls over the back of a delectable percussive line and an irresistible stabbed bassline. Moving with aplomb, FM takes us deep inside a heady and hazy picture where the midnight fog rises, providing a dense and lush backdrop before revealing a time-stopping breakdown where the ancient secrets blossom in a tantalizing manner as they come together for a rousing second act, drifting into the new night with each passing beat.

We welcome Molac on board 90watts for the very first time. His label debut is titled 'As Above, So Below', a wonderful piece of melodic organic house music. Super groovy and incredibly infectious. Another great release by the artist known for his output on labels such as Watergate Records, Songuara and Amulanga to name a few.

On remix duties Dulus makes his return on the label a couple of months after the release of his 'Mostly Sunny' single which is undoubtedly amongst the most populair songs released on 90watts in the past year. His super funky bassline sets the tone and pushes 'As Above, So Below' to another level. Top class stuff!

Musique de Lune opens the new year by welcoming Mike Isai to the label for his debut single. Hailing from the United States, Mike Isai has been a rising force in the global progressive house scene since first emerging in 2020. On the strength of his first release 'Pillars to Butterflies' via Nick Warren's Hope Recordings, the Brooklyn resident was immediately tipped as a rising talent to watch. Drawing inspiration from New York City's legendary nightlife, including venues like Twilo, Tunnel, and Sound Factory, Mike's groovy club-effective sound would quickly find a home on trendsetting imprints in Meanwhile and Mango Alley, while progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren continued to be steadfast with support. Now, five years on in his production journey, Mike continues to choose his projects wisely, with a quality over quantity mentality. Joining the Meanwhile Horizons roster with a standout 3-track EP, HAFT make their Meanwhile Horizons debut with “Flow / Momentum / Rosewood”.

Inspired by “percussion, deep-rooted and hypnotising synths”, HAFT’s aim is to “put all these elements together to create a unique sound utilising various organic melodies.” Through their innovative production work, the US-based duo have hit the underground dance music headlines since late 2017 with a series of stellar Organic and Progressive House releases – sprinkled with a dusting of Electronica – on such esteemed imprints as Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Pipe & Pochet and Armen Miran’s Hoomidaas.

Making an appearance on GMJ & Matter’s flagship label with “Life in Motion” on the “Meanwhile Excursions, Vol. 4” compilation in September 2024, HAFT now take their Meanwhile Horizons bow. Opening proceedings, “Flow” builds on the percussive flow and bassline energy so pivotal to the duo’s sound. Replete with fizzing hats, whip-cracking kick and rolling groove, an array of effects and sounds add to the aural intrigue before smooth pads and filtered arpeggio create layers of melodic majesty. Coming to the fore at a stripped-back breakdown in a club-friendly pause for breath, the track picks up the pace in the second half as the rhythmic and melodic collage combine to devastating effect.

The aptly titled, “Momentum” creates an exquisite music odyssey as a gradually evolving rhythmic landscape adds layer upon layer of sound creating a rich sonic playground by its denouement. Ticking hats and rolling bass pattern then vie for attention with thickly textured pads and plucked melodies that filter in and out of sonic range. Waxing and waning through its different phases, the track finds a stereo-panned motif taking centre stage in the final act to create a work of stunning dancefloor prowess.

The final track sees the mellifluous tones of “Rosewood” quickly creating a subtle melancholic atmosphere. A subterranean bass adds heft and gravitas as an immaculately syncopated synth phrase creates groove aplenty in the second movement. Rippling arps and counterpoint pads add to the aural depth, as does a perfectly placed vocal motif at the breakdown. Hitting club-friendly heights once more in the latter stages, HAFT’s production skills are on full display as “Rosewood” reaches a smooth and blissful conclusion.

Characterising a unique and powerful sound that transcends the progressive house genre, HAFT have shown why they are such respected figures with their “Flow / Momentum / Rosewood” EP.

The sole remix in this release belongs to Tonaco, who churns out his rendition of Tomas Briski's "Kupalo". The Tocantins (Brazil) native first graced our label with his stunning & chart-topping remix of Chaum & Hobin Rude's "Cressida", where it still sits at #1 on his personal Top 10 productions. Climbing through the ranks with releases on GMJ & Matter's 'meanwhile' & fellow countryman GORKIZ's 'Transensations', Tonaco's knack of finding a catchy groove while pursuing memorable musical moments within his compositions has cemented his productions as a cut above the rest. Eros, is the 7th EP of Various Artist from Droid9 South America, it includes 3 original mixes of pure Progressive House made by great artists. Among them are Argentine producers such as Konte, Andres Moris, Colou Befu and Ignacio Berardi.

Voice of experience, is the first track on this EP, made by Konte. In this track you can appreciate an ambient and dark sound, along with a very well achieved base, accompanied by a deep house sound to some extent. This creation keeps us in tune all the time, it is an ideal track for any time of the night, either at the end of a warm up or to generate a calmer atmosphere in an extensive set.

Into the light, is the second track, made by Andres Moris. This track obtained the support of Guy J (Echos 11/13/2020), in it we can notice in this creation a fine mixture in the Progressive House style, you can see solid drums accompanied by a powerful bassline, which when combined With the melody it begins to take us on a one-way trip to another dimension. Everything that seemed heavenly turns dark, minimal-style sounds begin to enter our ears which keeps the crowd to keep moving. It is an ideal track for any type of environment , in which listeners will go through different states of mind when being heard.

Sayonara, third track compiled by Colou Befu and Ignacio Berardi. You can see in this creation, a mix between an aggressive yet hypnotic and enveloping sound that progressively mutates and takes us on a journey from beginning to end. The combination of drums, melody and bass makes it sustain a good groove for the dance floor, which holds us to the floor and keeps us in constant motion. Undoubtedly this track can be used to exploit the night on any given dancefloor
