A Particles debutant, Chris Cargo has been an influential figure in underground house for over two decades. Over 250 production credits are testament to this longevity with the UK artist seeing his music feature on the likes of Paul Thomas' UV, D-Formation's Beat Boutique and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, with a further half-century on his own If You Wait imprint. Now debuting on Particles, "Wide Eyed" is a low-slung groover that develops with easy rhythmic poise before subtle melodic overtones filter into sonic range. Luscious pads and grooved bassline add to the aural collage before a breakdown introduces a swathe of new elements that fizz to a rousing white-noise crescendo before dropping back into the gently pulsating rhythm of earlier movements. The result is a smooth and immaculate offering from the Chris Cargo studio.

Chris Domingo is another longstanding artist within the underground dance fraternity. Finding success in both solo guise and with former production partner, Mariner, the US artist has seen his music feature on a host of leading labels that include Songuara, 3rd Avenue and Stellar Fountain, while work for Particles included 2021's "Azimuth" and "Lose Control" EPs, before May 2022 saw the debut of his Domingo + moniker in collaboration with Eric Lune and "Sentimental Fool". Now returning to the label, the Domingo+ remix sees an intricate percussive top-line based on elements from "Wide Eyed" shine before a familiar bassline cadence also makes its presence felt. Introducing a new syncopated synth line adds depth and intensity to proceedings before the second half reveals a glorious and meandering synth line that provides a touch of class and emotion to the original.

Subandrio needs no introduction to the particles faithful. A renowned figure across his Sri Lankan home and far beyond its borders, his unmistakable production work has lit up a plethora of labels including Mango Alley, Perspectives Digital and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. A regular on both Proton labels, a quintet of remixes has seen him rework the likes of Andre Sobota, Juan Deminicis, Trilucid and Matter since a December 2015 Particles debut. Now returning to the label for the first time in 5 years, the Subandrio remix is a typically sumptuous affair with powerful rolling groove melded with the textured pads and melodic bed of Chris Cargo's original. Full of vibrancy and atmosphere at the breakdown, a superbly cadenced motif and rippling stepped arpeggio combine to create a memorable interpretation.

Including remixes from Subandrio and Domingo +, Chris Cargo is "Wide Eyed" with musical delight.

Ruben Karapetyan's RKP continues a strong spring season by welcoming Randle to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Malta, Randle first emerged in 2022 on the strength of early productions for Another Life Music and Big Bells Records. His timeless progressive sound quickly caught the attention of the genre's diehard fanbase, leading to future projects for Droid9, Juicebox Music, and more. Also highly regarded as a DJ, the Birgu resident has been a fixture of Malta's nightlife for several years, sharing the stage with top international artists such as Glowal and Guy Mantzur, along with local hero DJ Ruby. With 2024 getting underway with a remix of Noise Generation's 'Magical Road', Randle now presents his first original project of the year, making his RKP debut with 'From Birgu To The Stars', alongside remixes from K Loveski, Rauschhaus and Jero Nougues. 

Also making his label debut with the second interpretation of 'From Birgu To The Stars' is Rauschhaus. The German producer has been a highly regarded figure of the melodic house underground since first emerging in 2017 with a contribution to Steyoyoke's 'Ethereal Techno' series. The next half decade saw Rauschhaus craft a consistent stream of superlative releases via Beatfreak, Einmusika, Parquet, Stil Vor Talent and his own Forevermore imprint. With strong remixes for Clubsonica and Movement Recordings already notched for 2024, Rauschhaus continues a prolific start to the year with an emotive take on 'From Birgu To The Stars'. Groovy and rhythmic throughout, it's a heady amalgamation of sound which makes for a club-effective yet uniquely poignant journey, smoothly flowing through striking chord stabs and haunting vocals, before a clever coax of dreamy melodies elevates mood onwards to a conclusion that is equal parts epic and goosebump inducing.

Serious Dancers are ones of the most representative names in the Organic House music scene nowadays. This time they want to show their skills when they also make Progressive House music, but still loyal to their particular style, characterized by solid beats, energetic grooves, hypnotic and evocative melodies, and  cinematic  elements.

The EP is completed by the awesome remix from one of the most representative producers in the Argentinian Progressive House scene nowadays, and a close friend of Univack family, Kebin van Reeken.
