J’sar is a Virginia-born lyricist with a pen rooted in soul and a voice shaped by the streets. Coming up in Newport News, J’sar’s early connection to music was nurtured in his grandmother’s home where soul records poured out of the radio and into his notebook. As a kid, he was already recording bars on tape decks, sharpening a skillset that would later become his life’s work. Now, after years of sacrifice, skipped summers, and growth both in and out of the booth, J’sar’s voice has matured into one that carries both authenticity and urgency.

J'sar speaks for the dreamer, giving listeners words to describe how they feel and encouragement to elevate their quality of life, proving that he’s not just here to rap, he’s here to speak, move, and evolve.
