MY BIO:
DJ Kquick had a love for music at tender age. His father being his mentor had a great part to play in the influence of him persuading his talent. The first time he saw his father record on his turntables he was inspired and knew it was his passion and calling. He got his first break in 2002 with DJ Toney in BlackLoveInc playing in a variety of top parties in Montreal and also began performing at local events, house parties, weddings, birthdays and formal functions.

Four years later he joined Excel Mix Radio, here he took his musical skills to the next level when he was offered the opportunity to play on their Monday time slot. DJ Kquick musical diversity was displayed in each and everyone of his performances, blending and mixing everything from hip-hop, reggae, soca, soul,R&B, dancehall to electric.

He entertains his listeners with fun filled shows which made him one of the most versatile DJ's in the business today. His goal is to bring the joy of music to the world, his fans and many followers.

DJ PortaRock has proven to be a relentless musical force in New York City and Washington DC nightlife since 2007. Residencies include: W Hotel, Mondrian SOHO, and Red Bull Arena. His smooth and seamless mixing along with the ability to adventure deep into most genres has created a non-stop demand for his all-inclusive style party.

DJ PortaRock's resume is as diverse as his musical style.  You may catch him rocking a crowd of 20,000 screaming soccer fans at Red Bull Arena, cutting it up on Jamaican beaches during Spring Break, pumping up the crowd during a fight at Madison Square Garden, or spinning a smooth set at the W Hotel for happy hour.  DJ PortaRock offers his exciting and unique style for private and corporate events.
