Tim's passion for all things music began at an early age, and he has been hugely influenced by the different genres and eras he was subjected to growing up..

Having been massively inspired by close friends already making moves in the house music industry, Tim began to develop his own vinyl collection. Self-taught, his passion and determination has lead to his career developing and going from strength to strength. Now, with over a decade of experience behind the decks, he has gained the confidence to explore music production, which has allowed him to put a deeper, darker stamp on his style under the pseudonym, Timbre. Alongside K/SS, Tim is also a long-standing resident at SNO, the Midland's No.1 Thursday night party, now in it's 5th year.  A big accolade more recently saw Tim awarded a 2:31/10:31 residency, a brand that was recently voted best club night by Mixmag in 2013. In addition to this, Tim also holds down a monthly slot at If Afteparty, and makes regular appearances over the summer months for Tantalise Presents Palava.. With frequent guest appearances in and around the second city,  there is plenty of opportunity to catch Tim doing what he does best..

I first started Djing DnB In 1996 (friday after school sesh's back at my house)! I then started playing out at parties and then eventually at local bars and clubs around the midlands. I had a big interest in music production and became a technician setting up computers for a music project In Warwickshire. 

I became familiar with the software and after having a car crash and getting compensation i spent the cash on a setup  to progress with my newly found addiction! Since then I have never looked back and the most I get out of doing it is to see a crowd avin it to my stuff (obviously)!

I collaborate with local singers song writers and musicians to produce new sounds and also play out sets using my own material. I play drums in a 9 piece reggae ska band 'Electrik Custard' which was originally formed by myself and my brother.
