StarVation is a Maryland based hip-hop act with a uniquely different slant on a genre which (according to some industry insiders) has lost its appeal. Unlike the drove of rappers flooding the industry with their simplistic rhymes with monotonous beats to match, StarVation stands apart mainly due to their respect to those who have paved the way for their foray into rap game, by reintroducing lyricism with elaborate production reminiscent of groups’ like Wu-Tang and A Tribe Called Quest who reigned during hip-hop’s golden era.
