Daso Franke was born in Poona (India) and at the age of five was using the dance floor of his father’s disco as a playground, growing up with the music of Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix and radio pop. Now, living in Berlin, this multi-talented music producer, live act and party machine, is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in recent times on the never-ending rollercoaster ride that is the modern electronic music circus. He is now set to make his emphatic debut on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records with two stunning creations.

“Bold and Bold” with its sensuously seductive motifs, deeply hypnotic groove backbone, all hallmarked with Daso’s defining elegance and style, is perfectly suited to Bedrock’s forward-thinking creative ethos. The Yellowheads are back, once again taking control of the situation and dropping another hot number on their home turf. Dema kicks things off with his own interpretation, letting the focus shift to the commanding bassline, while keeping the musical elements of the original intact. The original mix is up next, advancing in style with mighty low frequencies and cavernous effects, while streamlined synths go hand-in-hand with the subliminal rhythm section. Tomy Declerque finishes up with his own rendition, going for a more looped-out approach, combining classic chord action with spacey electronics and trippy edits.

Back at headquarters, our Yellowhead leaders are about to get attacked by a swarm of 'Symbiosis', just when the ever-prolific Sasha Carassi and the infamous duo Industrialyser and The Advent land their ships down, bringing along their own secret weapon of choice! The battle begins with our captains charging forth, unleashing a rocksteady rhythm section which acts as a sonic building block, while the disharmonic synths and the bubbling bass, provide the right amount of momentum! Sasha is up next, employing distorted drum elements, together with apocalyptic electronics and cavernous washes, creating havoc in their path! The duo picks up from there and kicks things up a notch with more filtered goodness and a skipping drumset, while tasty synths and impeccable programming make for a precise, calculated attack!

Adam Beyer’s Drumcode is growing from strength to strength, year after year, with a non-stop release schedule showcasing both the labels new and most established artists with cutting edge techno beats. Drumcode’s youngest rising star, Layton Giordani, exploded on to the scene after his debut album “Where It Begins” back in February, after scoring some of the biggest festivals in Europe this summer, he now returns with an exciting collab titled “Live Again”.
