IOA is an emerging techno artist, based in Alicante, Spain. 

His productions are characterized by catchy melodies followed by epic, cinematic breakdowns and fierce, energetic drops to generate the ultimate mixture of bliss and bass-face in the club, which he now successfully delivers to DJs, producers and ravers all over the world

His releases have received great praise from critics and listeners for their depth and musical richness, with consistently high-charting releases on Beatport, placements in Spotify's biggest Techno playlists and critical acclaim by some of the scene's most famous names.

Born in Uruguay in 1989. Since I was a child I had a strong bond with music with bands like The Beatles, Queen and the like, depicting a clear influence by my parents. Going through my teen years and after being heavily influenced by Hip Hop and Rock and Roll I got invested into electronic music thanks to Daft Punk. It was a one way ride from then exploring and going through several sub-genres. 
I went through a course with Alejandro Dangiolillo for becoming a DJ and after that I started my path. I was aired on Oceano FM 93.9 (local radio in Uruguay) several times with some techno sets. 
I've experienced mixing several sub-genres like Deep House, Tech House, Vocal Trance, Melodic Techno, Minimal but I can confirm that Techno is by far my favourite of them all, with artists like Spartaque, Tom Hades, Nakadia and Soolver. Addicted to that heavy bass line and drums going hard.

The way I record my sets is by plugging the mixer's audio output to the Mic-In of the PC, so everything you hear is basically the live mix of the tracks: no post-production, no editing, just the raw experience of a DJ mixing live.
