LunaRave vs Psylence Mind  - N.D.E - 148

This latest Intec release is one such example of Carl Cox discovering a fresh new artist that he wants to showcase and present to the world. With two original tracks this new release is from Scottish producer Luca De-Santo who joins the Intec family following previous releases on labels including Krannit, 18-09 and Black Square Recordings. Luca De-Santo based in Glasgow, is also a DJ who plays regularly at numerous nights in his home city. Alongside local gigs, he also boasts international booking at events such as Portugals BPM Festival. Track one Reach Me is lead by a pounding kick drum and starts with thundering percussion which packs a serious punch. Stabbing pads lift the mood and the female vocal phrases give it a warehouse feel, while subtle bursts of white-noise are used to build tension. Fast and furious, this relentless techno workout is full throttle from the first beat. Requiem is the deeper of the two tracks with warm textured pads that hold a gentle euphoria, which sit in stark contrast to the hard hitting backing drop on which they are layered. Fusing raw energy and poignant emotion with an outcome thats firmly focused at the dancefloor, this is masterfully crafted techno with a truly timeless sound.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave is back with a bang in 2018, after a mega first year in 2017, the label clocked up an impressive 11 releases, from the massive success of their debut single “We Do What We Want”, Gary Beck’s Top10 hit “Just One More” and then closing out the year with an epic collab from Alan and Sasha. With a mega 6 gig tour in Ireland just completed, We Are The Brave continues its reign, expect more gigs, more releases and more madness in 2018. 

Making his debut on We Are The Brave, is Reset Robot. Born and based in Portsmouth, he and Alan have grown up together “we have worked together for many years on so many different projects. I was really happy when Alan decided to take these tracks for his label, I think they are a perfect fit!” 

The lead track Held Note has a thundering low end, with a vocal which reverberates amongst the hi hats. “I actually called the track and EP Held Note, as I held down a note on my Korg MS2000 and played around with the pitch and filter modulation a lot. That's the basis of the track” says Dave.

Followed up by “Manhattan Project” filled with a selection of heady deep synth rhythms which weave in and out of one another, along a crispy kick, delivering a dark and driving techno track.

Welcome to 2018 and the start of the second year of big hitters from We Are The Brave.

Soul Button turns another corner with his thrilling new EP titled “Reverie”. Composed of three vibrant tracks, it unveils a secret passage across the vivid kingdom of gods. Philosophical and emotionally hued, all tracks reflect their titles, but are open to the listeners’ interpretation.

Starting this EP off is a track called “Reverie”. Raw organic sounds are encouraged by delicate notes that sink deep into timeless elegance with a hint of sweet melancholy.

Second track “Indra” depicts darker matters stirring up at once interrupted by thunderstorm echoes alongside aquatic sounds. Purifying sensations awaken the mind, hinting the start of an adventure.

“Elysium” is the third and last track in this EP. It reveals another parallel where glassy particles of thoughts disintegrate into multiple worlds. High pitched synths declare excitement, while hypnotizing rhythm carries into a territory of refined discoveries.

Soul Button endows “Reverie” EP with breathing textures and deep melodies. All three tracks are ideal for those who strive to unleash the imagination and set sail towards an epic journey through consciousness.

The Hamburg based Techno duo have been busy in the studio churning out some very special techno tracks, the first of which can be found on their forthcoming EP ‘Hybrid Animals’.

‘Analog Birds’ comes at you with a big room warehouse style hook synth, and its low end driving groove swings throughout the mix accompanied by some seriously warped sonar style sounds.


‘Synced Apes’ is a jacked up techno swing style track, with syncopated drum rhythms which growl along an array of powerful synths. It’s down tempo than its predecessor, but still displays some of the same elements in synth effects and patterns.
