I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

Hey my name is Björn from Neukirchen-Vluyn NRW/Germany. I discovered my love for electronic music in the mid of 90s. I started mixing in 1998 in the vinyl area with Trance, Progressive and Techno. Today I mainly mix in Techno, Peaktime and Progressivehouse area.

Born in Uruguay in 1989. Since I was a child I had a strong bond with music with bands like The Beatles, Queen and the like, depicting a clear influence by my parents. Going through my teen years and after being heavily influenced by Hip Hop and Rock and Roll I got invested into electronic music thanks to Daft Punk. It was a one way ride from then exploring and going through several sub-genres. 
I went through a course with Alejandro Dangiolillo for becoming a DJ and after that I started my path. I was aired on Oceano FM 93.9 (local radio in Uruguay) several times with some techno sets. 
I've experienced mixing several sub-genres like Deep House, Tech House, Vocal Trance, Melodic Techno, Minimal but I can confirm that Techno is by far my favourite of them all, with artists like Spartaque, Tom Hades, Nakadia and Soolver. Addicted to that heavy bass line and drums going hard.

The way I record my sets is by plugging the mixer's audio output to the Mic-In of the PC, so everything you hear is basically the live mix of the tracks: no post-production, no editing, just the raw experience of a DJ mixing live.

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
