For the eight edition of their label catalogue, [selected] puts the focus on their residents again. The Berlin based duo Lyric are in charge of this one, putting hypnotizing loops and tantalizing rhythms as their main focus.
As it should be, the EP starts out with its „Introduction”. It is plain and simple – no playing around, straight to the point techno without unwanted attitude or makeup. Sounds creeping in and out, searching for their roots and restlessly evolving by any means necessary.
Only the universe is „Eternal”. The mesmerizing scapes and slashes that build the composition construct a feeling of endless enchantment, while leaving no room for doubts that this is – indeed – eternal.
„Neologism” digs deeper and explores the greater realms of the genre. Soft keys dangle over ones head like an asymmetric pendulum – drooling you in, putting you in a transcendent state where everything is nothing and no limits seem to exist.
While still in trance, „Hemisphere” puts a spin on the record’s atmosphere. The mind boggling loop character is still very present, the odd chord progression puts an unexpected twist on it. Almost nightmare-ish, the elements gather and layer around you like a snake that has just shed its skin.
For the finale A.Morgan puts his spin on „Hemisphere”. The chords get more stabby, a range of belly, clinching percussion are eager to express themselves, tumbling through spheres of light and darkness.

It begins with the source material.
Ever seen one of those Hollywood mixing videos where the engineer just slams the faders up, does some EQ and compression and it all just seems to come together? That's good source material in play. When you've got strong foundations, things just come together - hours and days of frustrated 'fixing' just isn't necessary.
It leaves you free to make music.

Your new home base.
This is the source material. From a bespoke collection of Full-On Psytrance kicks, through an army of deadly bass kits, a selection of precision snares and claps and an avalanche of Psy-specific percussion elements, Foundations is the library you're going to be working from time and time again.
Every last hit has been processed to fit in Full-on Psytrance - if you're coming from another genre, we can't make any promises.
Created by Ady Scorb and Vince Virtual Light, Foundations is the result of two veteran producers and months in the lab. Remo discovered his love for music already in early years and made his first steps into the world of electronic music at the age of 14. Influenced by different Artists and styles as for example Talamasca, Bionix, Outsiders, Hans Zimmer, Moderat, Delta Heavy and many others, he realized soon that he wants to try himself to create psychedelic soundscapes. Workend intensely on his first tracks, he already  got the chance to perform his sound at renowned Events as Mystica, Raumklang, Street Parade, Burning Mountain Festival and One Love Festival.

Rematic's style is unique and refreshingly different - always experimenting on new ways to bounce the dance floor.

Remo entdeckte seine Liebe zur Musik bereits in jungen Jahren und machte im Alter von 14 Jahren seine ersten Schritte in die Welt der elektronischen Musik, beeinflusst von verschiedenen Künstlern und Stilen wie z.B.
