'Hicky & Kalo are back on their own label with another wonderful EP that solidifies their foothold as one of the most promising duos in the progressive house scene.

Title track 'Borealis' opens with raw intensity and is riddled with emotion from the get-go. The track fuses a rolling bass-line, beautiful pads and scintillating synth-work, a combination that makes for an inimitable sonic experience.

The second track 'For Better Days' is built around two beautiful melodies that cross paths as the journey unravels, leading to an epic musical moment.

Closing out the EP is 'Echoes Of Our Passage', which delves deep into to soul and ignites the passion within. It delivers a fervent feeling of hope and invincibility stemming from the delectable melody.

This is a huge EP from the Montreal pair. Brimming with musicality, it brings an untamed emotion to the dance-floor.'

Roaring to life as knight and day collide in an explosion of sound and colour, a new nirvana emerges. The stars shimmer over the Melkweg and rippling arpeggios take Shelter on the north side before analogue synth motifs find a sweet spot in the Sugarfactory. UK born, but firmly settled in his adopted Austrian homeland, “sonic explorer" Orsen has caused quite a stir with his music gracing Replug, Particles and Optimized, and now finding a new home on Sudbeat. And here, we are treated big time, as you get not two, three or four tracks here, but five (count 'em!), and all oozing of coolness.

So lets get on with it and saturating off with the title track 'Komorebi'. This subtle gem grabs your attention from the off, creating an atmospheric deep vibe that evolves effortlessly, expanding with wondrous layers of magic. Melodic and war, yet as deep as you like.

Beautiful layers adorn 'Doves', as this smile inducing dance floor monster unfurls its hypnotic spell. A feel good track, with a rather apt name top boot.

We pick up the pace and take things a little darker with 'Fade'. This tasty building winner locks you in then unleashes is bass synth line that powerfully pushes this monster along.

'Tourist' is next up, and eludes warmth from every direction, as we are treated to a magnificent whimsical voyage, that seems to massage your mind and move your feet.

And to round things off nicely we have 'Organisms. This punchy little number develops superbly, with plenty of energy, and has a sophisticated synth line in the drop that really pricks up your ears before slamming back to action.

Behind him there is a great and active work on the creation of music and production inspired by Balkan ethno music with adjectives of afro and world music in general.
By composing many tracks, production is getting better and after several years of producing various genres of electronic music, he finally finds a sound that will become his main interest in the coming period.
