NEW STUDIO ALBUM, THE ART OF CELEBRATION, TOUR IN UK / IRELAND FROM MAY 2014

Rend Collective from Bangor, are known for pushing artistic boundaries have gathered together believers for sold out events in cities across the world, most recently in nine cities spanning seven states in the U.S. in November on the band’s “Campfire” tour. The tour was named after Rend Collective’s highly acclaimed, No.1 selling iTunes record "Campfire" which features vocals recorded live outdoors earlier this year around a campfire on Ballyholme Beach in Northern Ireland along with members of the collective’s. 

Have already sold over 100 Thousand albums, their new album "The Art Of Celebration" is fairly different musically from their debut "Campfire". There's more of an influence from the burgeoning alternative folk rock scene with a sound reminiscent of Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers amongst others. The album lead single "My Light House" is building moment and is gaining strong support at radio! 

Continuing to travel internationally, Rend Collective brought its “Campfire” tour to an additional 10 U.S. cities in Jan / Feb 2014 before joining Kari Jobe for a major, 30-plus-city tour in the U.S. that begins Feb. 27 and runs through April 13.  During the tour, Rend will perform new music from its highly anticipated, new album, The Art of Celebration, which is set to release March 17.  Following the US tour,  Rend will bring its “The Art of Celebration” tour home to Ireland in May along with a tour of the UK while hitting cities like Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow and Manchester.

If you hear an invitation to believe the gospel, then it's not too late to turn to Jesus for salvation. That's what Peter explained in Acts 2:14-41 at Pentecost. Jesus isn't spiteful toward sinners, not the rebellious, the stubborn, the proud, even his own killers. If you have turned your life, marriage, career, or parenting to ashes, it's still not too late to turn to Jesus. Peter's listeners killed Jesus, but he arose and offered them eternal life if they would repent and follow him. Jesus fulfilled Scripture, left his tomb empty, and changed the lives of those who believe in him. Hearts may be granite, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is diamond. It's time to follow him!

Remedy City Church exists to take the remedy of Jesus Christ to the needs of Muncie, Indiana, and beyond. We are called to care about our church community (to help one another move from where we are to where God wants us to be), about our communication of Christ (to tell good news to church and city, Christian or not), and about our city (to show how God’s forgiveness radically changes a person from the inside out).
