A compilation with a selection of 11 artists from different parts of the planet that perfectly describe the sound of the deep abyss of Syhda Music. 11 tracks composed in an eclectic way with organic textures, powerful polyrhythmic percussions, futuristic melodies, tribal sounds and deep passages that explain the future sound of our project. Hailing from Mexico, Rainforest - aka Rodrigo Alvarez and Bwoykah ;) is not new to the worldwide Jungle / Drum + Bass scene. Initially starting his DJ career in 2002, he began producing music in 2004, and has since unleashed a flurry of digital releases alongside a number of vinyl offerings too. Pushing a wide range of music aesthetics in every single production, he always manages to focus on trying to make all his tracks sound a bit different from one another.

With a long list of labels supporting and releasing his music over the years, including: 45SEVEN, ALPHACUT, OFFISH PRODUCTIONS, AGN7 AUDIO MONOCHROME RECORDINGS, and WEAPONIST.

Rainforest has also found the time and energy to launch two labels: BREAKBEAT REBELZ and BACKGROUNDS MUSIC. Both imprints serve as an outlet for his own variety of works and for other like-minded producers to explore further experimental angles of JUNGLE and HALFTIME.

The latest release from Reminiscence Audio is by two of the leaders in the modern atmospheric drum and bass scene. Infest [Netherlands] and Parallel [USA] unite here to deliver two tracks of pure sonic excellence that demonstrate a united approach to drum science and a shared vision of where the music should be heading in 2013, despite living in two different parts of the world.
This is the kind of music that can transcend planets let alone countries.
Intricate breakbeat manipulation is combined with dreamy atmospherics and minimal inter planetary FX that transport the listener to the mid-nineties and the constantly innovating sounds of "intelligent" drum and bass. 
Perfectly retro and yet still relevant to the current scene this release establishes that breakbeat culture is as alive now as it ever was. Between them both artists have had a strong list of releases via Subtle Audio Recordings, 
DSCI4 and Omni Music as well as other internationally recognised labels. Previous tracks have received radio support from Bailey, Double O and Code amongst others. This release follows the critically acclaimed debut album by Infest entitled Darkofi.
