Pulls me in, a phantom touch

Fingers tracing through the haze

Heartbeat pounding, neon flickers
Whiskey burns but the fire’s quicker
Shadows shifting, lips half-spoken
Chasing ghosts, hearts wide open

Voices hum, like distant songs
Steps that echo, fading slow
The night holds secrets, cold and deep
In restless dreams, I still can’t sleep

The air is heavy, silence speaks
