Louvain-based DJ Remko started his dj career more than 2 decades ago in his local student pub mixing all kinds of music styles.
Deep house was slowly descending in the Louvain music scene, and after hours of bedroom mixing behind the turntables he got his first official residency at the Sunshine parties in Club Rumba.
A little later, “Home is Where The House Is”, or in short “Home”, was born: a deep house concept organised by partners in crime DJ Remko and his friend Wim (Got To Be Funky, Sunshine)
From that day on, success grew. 
After 5 years,  a collaboration started with club owner Anthony from club Silo, the famous underground club in Louvain. He became a resident DJ at the Silo club nights, and together they started the successful concept ‘Siloin?’. International DJs from all over the world came and hit the decks, live acts were booked, this was big. Crazy days, crazy people and good times that will never be forgotten by those who joined the dance!
After a very busy 10 years of being deeply involved in the Belgian house scene, after having played in most of the major Belgian clubs and abroad, DJ Remko suffered a severe injury and was obligated to take a break.
That break lasted 10 more years :)…
With his girlfriend Sarah, a party animal and house lover from the first hour, he regained his love for deejaying.
A slightly different style but still the same energy, a new nickname was born: Ricardo Goudhaan!
Ricardo Goudhaan aka DJ Remko is known for his infectious enthusiasm and interaction with the crowd.
