Mr Bringer-er Together-er is Josh. You may also know him as artist Entheogenic Psychnought, or the spine of Eclectic Collective. We all came across Josh in our own lucky ways, but he really sets a high bar for spreading constructive musical love and encouragement on SoundCloud. This song started out as a comment. I (Carl/TBD) went to call Josh Mr Bringer-er Together-er and my phone auto corrected it. the next morning K2 swooped in and said what I wanted so I used that as a trigger for the song.
So, I had a rough arrangement. We then invited a few artists, except Josh, to paint it for him. Then Scotty (One Man Verity Show) chimed in with some amazing guitar, trippy backing vocals, and the super artwork you get to enjoy. Mark brushed in a triangle and started things off with a 5-part harmony backing vocal arrangement. Then Scratch Kelly, aka Sarah, beamed through some amazing backing vocals, and not long behind Joe Stroffolino painted in some brilliant backing vox as well. Then Ken added those trusty drums. Tez then strutted in and added some super lead guitar, and not far behind him was Stephen with some epic rhythm guitar that showed the way for the song from that point of view showing a much better space to all the other instruments than the original demo guitar. That was a lovely lesson on less is more...

The song was now ready to give to the main man for him to paint, and he chose his trusty bass to put some strawberries on his own musical cake.

I now stared at 37 tracks and went... Hmmm Stephen, Help! Stephen mixed and mastered it to its crisp current form, and it was a very difficult mix. He basically had to merge 3 projects to one and really aced the challenging mix and master like the true shaman he is. We hope you enjoy the song that brought us together again. May it give us more togetherness like Josh so wonderfully demonstrates everyday.

      Howdy everyone! Ok I did a little reshuffling here and bumped this song to the front of the line! I just finished the video and put about a weeks work into it! It's a comic relief song, a novelty, about getting old! They say we should write about things we know, and I know about getting older!😂 I wrote the song in 2021 during the pandemic because we needed some comedy then and I think we need some comedy now too! This is something my friends and me used to say at work all the time when we'd forget something or did something stupid like ask where your glasses are when they are on top of your head!😂 I tweaked the lyrics a little and took several curse words out of the song but kept a couple in, so beware people, please don't call the Profanity Police on me! They're mild words like "shit" and "ass" nothing more than that!  There are some words of wisdom thrown in there too like in all my songs. It's just a fun song and video!

     I wrote it to a Latin Rock beat, kind of like a Santana song. I remember it took me several weeks to record the backing track because I added a ton of stuff on it Bass, Piano, Acoustic and Electric guitars, percussion, I worked very hard on it, it's all just me playing eveything with a Drum Machine because I don't play the drums. A little bit Salsa, a little bit Rock & Roll because that's how I roll!😂 The vocals are all me and I recorded them last week, I was going to have Charlie sing it but I decided to do it myself because we've been stuck on this other song for a month now and I have like 30 songs ready to go. So please forgive the vocals! The video is funny and I spent a couple weeks on that as well. It's about getting old and forgetting words and your body hurting and falling asleep, and telling kids to get off your lawn! The usual things that come with getting older. Basically "Old man yelling at clouds" syndrome!😂 I know how that is!  The video will drop on YouTube in a couple of weeks! I hope everyone laughs with me and not at me! But I won't mind as long as you laugh a little!! So sit back and have a laugh on me! Cheers! 🍻

The song is based on a 432Hz tuning fork and is about empowering humans of all ages to teach themselves the universe as they genuinely see it themselves and stop listening to the liers that talk the talk but are actually idiots like many world leaders. We have all levels of intelligence through all cohorts of society. Just because someone convinced you to vote for them, doesn't make what they say truthful and has no reflection on their true intelligence. Read yourself and read the world. Just like we find it difficult to talk about depression on this planet and it's just a medical condition... I don't mean to offend anyone here. Just trying to be real and like depression is generally something that can be sorted by lifestyle choices so can obesity. Fit in bodies stands to make a world that has fitter minds & I think that's medically true and the case for most individuals 🧂

I suppose generalised maybe showing self care lends itself to being more gracious towards others too.

Healthy food being number one of course, that aslo translates to bringing sport and athleticism into all of our children's lives. I was addicted to sport until my knees slowed me down but I believe my parents facilitating that for me right throughout my childhood has made it much easier for me to control my weight and in turn health as an adult even though I play a lot less sport now then when I was younger.

Everyday leaving school I make sure to whip my kids in a race down the school avenue... It's a cool little thing that gives Dad a big head and I can still cod myself and say ha... Ya can't beat me yet lads 😆

In a region in the South of Mozambique, kanimambo is a word expressing deep gratitude. A Portuguese singer, João Maria Tudela, made a song about it in the early sixties of the last century. I never forgot it, and here is my tribute to him.

I enjoy mashing sounds together that please me...would love to collaborate with like-minded souls...

The tools I have currently are a Samson Graphite 49 midi controller fed into Logic Pro X run on an @pple Studio. A heavily modified Crate branded Electra Guitar, a Crate branded Electra Bass with Wilkonson pups, an Alvarez-Yairi YM-1 Acoustic, a Vangoa Mandolin, a Kmise Ukelele, a mountain Dulcimer and some other noise-making toys fed into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 via various mikes.
