I am delighted to present lounge version of the song "Champagne". I aimed to capture the feeling of those moments when you are the centre of attention, feeling invincible, and every moment is a celebration of life.

Proud to have worked with Artur on a song he said was "special to him" but he never said why it was special...So cool that he dedicated it to his wife! (now I know)
Working with Artur was a pleasure this last week, hope to work with him again in the future sometime (with less time constraints)

Between Us (w/Artur - Surfers like Us)

Had a couple of bass lines that have been floating around the brain pan for quite a few months...Walker bravely took one on (a 4/4 guy confronted with a time sig of 7/8!)
Threw in another bass line in another time sig (6/8 iirc), because 'why not?'
And Walker threw out 3 more guitar tracks for that one...I used them all...
Other than the drums, this is all guitars and bass believe it or not...

I have an ElectroHarmonix S9 pedal featured on the third section...sounds like a synth to me...and did a straight track of guitar bits as well.

It was inspired by The Moody Blues "Tuesday Afternoon"...I ripped part of the melody from the lines:

"I'm looking at myself, reflections of my mind
It's just the kind of day to leave myself behind"

The second section was a nod to "I Advanced Masked's" 3rd track "China – Yellow Leader" the collaboration between Andy Summers and Robert Fripp.

Nowhere near as cool as what they did though...

I enjoy mashing sounds together that please me...would love to collaborate with like-minded souls...

The tools I have currently are a Samson Graphite 49 midi controller fed into Logic Pro X run on an @pple Studio. A heavily modified Crate branded Electra Guitar, a Crate branded Electra Bass with Wilkonson pups, an Alvarez-Yairi YM-1 Acoustic, a Vangoa Mandolin, a Kmise Ukelele, a mountain Dulcimer and some other noise-making toys fed into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 via various mikes.
