Greg Dykstra is part of the character design process at Pixar Animation Studios, California. His sculptures in clay help build the worlds seen in films like Finding Nemo and Up. Other credits include Ghostbusters II, Robocop 2 and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Part 1 of the interview discusses life at Pixar. It also touches upon key figures in the discipline of computer science, such as Ed Catmull. Greg was quick to point out that this President at Disney and founder of Pixar had released a book called Creativity, Inc.: Overcoming the Unseen Forces That Stand in the Way of True Inspiration.
