DESCRIPTION:
Sync Forward returns to present "Vertex", a heavy-sounding EP by LA-based producer Adellacosta, featuring remixes from Alexskyspirit and ODDR.

The opening track 'Vertex' is an epic, hypnotic, driving techno composition, with menacing percussion and almost experimental stylishness that drives your imagination under a rumbling groove.

Next, we have a track entitled "Apex", influenced by current big-room techno, the organic production style reveals a rolling, dirty groove filled with flowing and rippling synths making it clear their musical chemistry is unique.

The remix of "Vertex" by Alexskyspirit delivers a driving pumping track with a synth that re-writes the original one, giving it a special edge and adding an element of mystery.

Closing the release is "Apex" remix by ODDR. Superbly executed, it's a fantastically low-end track that features dark and melodic tones, with the breakdown involving dreamy synths and provocative percussion.

Remotion are an electronic music duo based in Porto, Portugal. Started making music under this alias in 2012 focusing on the deep and melodic techno vibes, with an energetic twist and aiming straight to the dance floor.

The duo has played in some of the best clubs in Portugal such as Pacha Ofir, Gare Porto, Industria Club and shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists like Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Pan-Pot, Jeff Mills, Monika Kruse, DVS1, Paul Ritch, Pig & Dan, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Len Faki, Christian Smith, Ida Engberg, Alan Fitzpatrick - to name a few.

In 2010 Remotion co-founded a record label - Sync Forward - alongside the Portuguese artists and their personal friends, Monotronik. Later on, the label solidified its position in the electronic scene, with the creation of the event signature "BLUR", leading to a monthly residence in a variety of venues featuring the closest artists to the label.

2016 started off by signing 4 tracks on the well-known label Elevate, having one of them - Lucy - featured on Pig & Dan’s Essential Mix, on BBC Radio One.
