This Techsafari episode features SIDE EFFECTS aka Tzahi Geller and his 2023 Summer Live Set. Inspired by artists like Astrix, Psysex and Cosma, it was at the age of 26 that Side Effects presented his first titles on major labels like Iboga, Iono and Spin Twist. In 2014, Side Effects released his debut album titled "City On Mars" along with several singles that caught the attention of fans of this music. Everyone will remember the track "Mind Control" listened to more than 3 million times on Youtube. Since then, Side Effects has performed at all major festivals in Europe, Central and South and North America.  For the past few years, Side Effects has partnered with Canadian label TechSafari Records, which released their latest album titled Next Destination, as well as several collaborations and EPs that have stood out on various charts. Tzahi Geller represents a staple of the psychedelic progressive trance scene who created his own signature sound and who today continues to fuse the psychedelic and progressive side of Psytrance in a remarkable way.

Arhetip is a progressive psytrance project established by Jovan Nikolic and Milan Djumic from Belgrade / Serbia. These childhood friends have decided to embark on a new musical voyage in 2012, after years of Dj-ing and working together on their other project ''Silver Sun''. It came as no surprise that shortly after their debut EP release for Synergetic records came to light in 2012, they managed to grab the attention of various labels like Tesseract Studio, Iono music, TechSafari, Digital OM, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Plusquam, Digital Nature, etc. With their follower base steadily growing, the duo is focused on creating their distinctive signature by combining their extensive production skills and DJ experience into the creative process. Their debut album 'The Absolute' which was released in late 2015 on TesseracTstudio records, represented an important milestone, as well as a breakthrough for the duo. As they continue to perfect their work on psychedelic sound textures, the future seems bright, with many new releases, collaborations, and remixes coming your way soon. A very special Terrafractyl set made especially for Questival, filled with dwarfs, elves, dragons, Bards, swordplay, Rings of power even a little bit of Hypnagog every now and again (this is not actually the exact questival set, but something very close to it ;) )  After many people telling me over the years that my music was great background music for gaming, this was a bit of an attempt to represent a big epic fantasy quest through music and I relished the opportunity to try and remix some things...(!)
note: some bits of some new Unreleased terrafractyl tracks are in there, they have been trimmed to not give away too much, and are also in early draft form, so expect them to be v different on release!!
