Renan Martinz, 35, is an advertising professional, audiovisual creator and Brazilian DJ from Brazil. From an early age, he showed interest in electronic equipment, inspired by his father's sound gadgets. At 15, he combined equipment to manipulate and create unique sounds, recording his creations on cassette tapes and later on CDs.

Renan Martinz had his first encounters with Electronic Music in the early 2000s when the Fortaleza scene began to take its first steps. His involvement with repetitive and psychedelic beats gained momentum during adolescence, initiating his journey in DJing heavily influenced by genres like Techno and Psy-Trance.

In 2005, at 17, he faced for the first time a dance floor thirsty for underground music and surprised the audience, encouraging his passion for the art of DJing.

Influenced by the bustling local scene, he developed a love for Electronic Music and discovered his ability to DJ when his skill in "reading the crowd" and understanding what the audience wanted to hear quickly distinguished him as a promising talent at that time.

From 2007, still under the old pseudonym 'Psycho', was recognized as a revelation by some of the most renowned DJs in the state and invited to join the DJs crew "The Sound", sharing the stage with important names of the global Psychedelic Trance scene until 2012.

Renan Martinz also explored different nuances of Electronic Music, ensuring performances in various nightclubs, itinerant parties in Fortaleza, and important music festivals in the state, such as FW Electronic (Ceará Music), as well as striking performances in alternative rave open-air venues like Entrance and Ziohm.

With almost two decades of career, Renan Martinz has dedicated himself to his art and honing his mixing techniques by focusing his musical research on Techno and House today. Exploring the connections between its sub-genres, he experiments the union of groove and hypnotic sounds, with a simple and powerful mission: bring joy and emotion to people through good music, remaining faithful to his roots and to the music scene that saw him grow.
