A select repertoire, sincere live performances and refined song writing. These are the qualities which have defined Lindsay & Isaac throughout their 12 years of career. The subtle and minimalist guitar arrangements of Isaac, paired with the unique voice and sensitive interpretations of Lindsay, lend a smooth and balanced feel to the duo's music. The sound is perfectly suited for intimate and atmospheric concert locations. 

Appreciated and highly acclaimed by public and critics alike, the duo can now look back on over four hundred successful presentations, including performances on radio and television, as well as major theaters and bars in Florianopolis. Furthermore, Lindsay & Isaac are attracting ever more attention on the internet, enjoying an overwhelmingly positive response from music lovers from all over the world, on sites like Youtube and Facebook.

Unlike most other Brazilian musicians and bands, Lindsay & Isaac compose songs with lyrics exclusively in the English language. This is above all an artistic option, as the duo has always felt that English makes a better fit than Portuguese for their desired sound. The option for English lyrics is also due to Lindsay & Isaac’s strive towards a more universal appeal, reaching beyond the boundaries of the Portuguese speaking countries. The personal, emotional and introspective themes of the duo’s lyrics reflect dreams, aspirations and feelings common to people in all corners of the world.



JORGE LUIZ PINHEIRO SOUZA é itabaianense (Sergipe/Brasil), neto de Boanerges/Ceiça/Duca/Zefinha, filho de Bebé/Maria, irmão de Bibi/Dindinha, pai de Ian/Sofia, amigo dos amigos, inimigo de ninguém e peregrino buscador da ROSA no centro da CRUZ. Economiário (CEF), Graduado em Filosofia (UFS), Pós-Graduado em Metodologias de Ensino para a Educação Básica (UFS), músico (compositor), poeta (amador), místico (entendendo-se misticismo enquanto conhecimento + experiência). Amante do BEM!!!
