Luxurious, warm, tasteful and wonderfully vibrant - Spektralsound’s latest dashing delivery on Hypho & Xakra’s bountiful Manuka Records is a beautifully written piece of magic, and further solidifies both their exciting cross-sonic growth, and Manuka’s deft willingness to crush boundaries and genre norms. ‘Sunset Somewhere’ fully exemplifies these qualities, with the Bristol/London pairing bringing together their self-titled penchant for ‘spectral transmissions from a submerged future’, and glueing that together with Manuka’s high-key focus on the very best in new, cutting-edge atmospherics, usually landing between 130-140BPM.
