Niko  born April 5th 1985 is an Albanian/American rapper & goes by the stage name NIKO. While only a baby Niko's family migrated to the US in hopes for a better life. Growing up in Detroit Niko quickly ended up on the wrong side of the tracks, getting into trouble constantly which  lead to an incarceration. In his young teens Niko found himself lost and in trouble, and with no father to guide him he turned to the mic. After a studio session with a close friend, it became evident Niko had a gift. A natural talent and flow that many artists do not posses. He teamed up with the group " Mob Type Thugz" and gained recognition for numerous recoded tracks while being in the group. An unknown split up in the group left Niko solo again which at that time, a local group was recruiting members. Niko wrote the chorus to the YouTube hit " Who You Know Bang" and played a big role in the records success. Even though it was local, bars and clubs were sold out to see the group perform. They even gained some east coast recognition, performing in clubs and venues in New York. A falling out between the group left Niko solo again, this time it's exactly what he wanted. Niko released several tracks and videos as a solo artist, and continues to do so. In 2014 he looks to attack early, and finally focus on himself and his career. Throughout his music you can hear a smooth flow, club hits, even records for the ladies. In other cases though, you hear real life situations, and gritty street records. Many who are close to the artist would say that he's done a complete 360 and turned around his life, Niko thanks music for that. What's seems to separate him from other artists is a record deal. Nowadays every artist wants one and is chasing it, Niko on the other hand isn't. He makes genuine music for his fans and himself, all he ever wanted and wants is to improve Hip Hop.
