Welcome to RIOT. The home of our radio shows and labels broadcasting into the future .......... and beyond.

Each week on the 'RIOT Radio Show' or 'a quiet RIOT' along with a one hour set by resident Nomad, randomDisco or MssTec, we'll be welcoming a guest to the show for a further hour of full on exclusive techno mayhem. A hoard of very well known and simply stunning acts will be featuring alongside us for this venture into sound along with a whole host of very talented local music makers. Each and every set aired has been done exclusively for the show. Seriously .............. your ears won't believe it.

Each show has it's own label and these will have clanking bolts n' nuts party techno on the 'RIOT Radio Show' and a more laid back electronic approach on 'a quiet RIOT'. 

Either way, it can and will only be the best that we bring you.

Even in my twenty-fifth year as a DJ, I am not a single sequence more tired.
Highly frequented, I keep moving forward. And I still experience Techno and House (as a generic term) as enthusiastically as I did in my first hour, when I discovered this still trend-setting music and the changing culture around it. Even today, and for all eternity, it's basic rule number one for me: to connect old teachers as well as new key figures. This shows in my DJ sets at all times and omnipresent.
This journey began for me with key moments like Viva Housfrau (Viva TV) and Stunde Null (Radio NRJ Sachsen). I started working the turntables myself in 1997.
The first record I bought was Daft Punk's Homework LP.

25 years DJíng Thomas Schubert - Æddicted - Tiefunten (Alter Ego Thom E aka Thom Electronics) !

Thomas Schubert,

has been an integral part of the Chemnitz Club Scene since 1997.
From 1997 until 2019 it was known under its old name 
"Thom E aka Thom Electronics" today he remains with the name "Thomas Schubert".

Very soon he was a Resident of the "Club Achtermai" (Chemnitz).
He was Inspired to Electronic Music already in the early nineties.
Especially Mad Max's and Raik E's "Stunde Null" (Radio NRJ Sachsen) or Sabine Christ's and Mate Galic's "Housefrau" (Viva TV) brought him soon to the Underground sound like House and Techno.  At the latest his first personal visit to the Club "Tresor" (Berlin) was to lay the foundation for his career as a DJ.

His sets have always been very diversified. Beginning with a nice intro, over an increasing descent to a clean outro, he always takes his audience on a wonderful journey.

His heart has always been for classic Detroit and Chicago sound.
You can find everything from House to Techno, Acid, Minimal, Electro or Ambient in his sets.
Other projects are "Tiefunten" with which he used to play the old chill out areas. At the moment he is also behind "Æddicted" and takes up the classic Electro Sound.

In May 2019 I was started with the ESOA Podcast.
