Searching for a pleasing sound and a beautiful aura, we found a place of love, community, kindness, psychedelic connections and space. This is how MISAKI's journey has begun. Psychedelic Connection is a psytrance compilation that she has edited with all her heart and with the special collaboration of many Artists and Friends, met while travelling around the world. It is a series of works which contain a range of music from edgy night tracks to morning psychedelic tunes that drive on a trip from dark sketchy vibe to daytime positive lights. The Thatcher effect is about a cognitive dysfunction that affects the perception we have of certain objects, more specifically faces. A little brain game that offers us a reality different from ours. On this occasion, with “Thatcher Effect EP” I wanted to show that not everything we hear is perceived in the same way. There are infinite possibilities, endless ways of understanding music, whatever genre it is. After a very difficult year, away from my true passion, I present this new 4-track EP, which tells a story, a vision of my own reality. I really wanted to go back to the studio, and I hope you find this new musical adventure exciting, created directly from the heart to your senses. When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn't have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspire us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn't changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.
