Die Magie der Unwissenheit... in 3 elektronischen Neuinterpretationen wird sie zur hochgradig tanzbaren Hymne für Lebemenschen. Als Grundlage dient ein deutsch-spanischer Song von Illute. In Viva La Ignorancia besingt sie nämlich die nicht vorhandene Notwenigkeit, immer alle Details zu kennen. Zur musikalischen Begleitung kommen im ursprünglich auf LasVegas Records erschienenen Titel erdige Bläserklänge, temperamentvolle Gitarren und handgemachte Rhythmik zum Einsatz. Eine Mischung, die natürlich voll und ganz ins Beuteraster von Kombinat100 passt. Für ihren Remix hatte die illustre Truppe eine klassische Guitaren-Session mit Jörg Schwenzer. Das Ergebnis ist eine faszinierend stimmige Mischung aus Strophen, Refrains und eingängigem, elektronischem Groove. Der zusätzliche Instrument Mix liefert einen stark hitverdächtigen Ausflug in Kombinat100’s einzigartiges Wunderland der blubbernden Bässe, tänzelnden Delays und verspielten Filtermodulationen. Nicht zuletzt gelingt auch dem Berliner Duo dingdongdilly eine mitreißende Vermählung von Songstruktur, knackigen Beats und zündendem Club-Schub.



The bliss of ignorance... is the inspiration for 3 electronic remixes, 3 highly danceable anthems for all hedonists. Their basic idea is a German-Spanish song by Illute. In Viva La Ignorancia she reminds the listener that it is not always necessary to know about all the details. The title, originally released on LasVegas Records, comes with the organic sound of wind players, with vivacious guitars, and with lots of hand-made rhythms. Quite obviously this mixture is a perfect match for Kombinat100. So the illustrious combo had a classic guitar-session with Jörg Schwenzer. The result is an intriguing melange of verses, refrains, and catchy electronic grooves. Also the instrumental mix has everything it takes to become a hit, even without the vocal part: Kombinat100 take the listener on a ride to their wonderland of bubbling bass lines, bouncy delays, and playful filter modulations. Last but not least also dingdongdilly, a duo from Berlin, manages to create a seamless connection of song structure, crunchy beats, and high-octane club boost.

Hypnotischer Tiefgang kann auch hell und freundlich sein, wie Marcus Sur einmal mehr unter Beweis stellt. Die melodiöse Eingängigkeit seiner Produktionen schwingt irgendwo zwischen Deep House und Dub Techno, wobei er das Beste aus beiden Welten mit organischer Eleganz verwebt und mit seiner ganz eigenen Note versieht. 
Da ist das stimulierende Pochen und entrückte Klingeln von The World In Small Doses. Da ist die hintergründige Dramatik und perfide Vielschichtigkeit von Masquerade. Da ist die verträumte Stimme von Ann Jasmund, die sich über den warmen Wogen eines wabernderen Klangteppichs ausbreitet. Und da ist der verspielte Basslauf von Magnetic Ribbons, dessen schwerelose Synthesizer- und Piano-Zitate Mollono.Bass zwischen die perkussiven Rhythmen seines wundersamen Frequenz-Universums entführt. Das dubbig glitzernde Original gibt es als Zugabe für die Digital-Version. Leicht verdaulich und doch sehr gehaltvoll – wie gute Musik für den Sommer sein sollte!


It can be bright and friendly even down in the depths of hypnotism, as proven once again by Marcus Sur. The melodic catchiness of his productions vibrates somewhere between Deep House and Dub Techno, taking the best of both worlds to yet another level. There is a very warm and organic feeling to this music that dominates the prevailing mood of all the tracks. The minimal but heady tune of The World In Small Doses rings and throbs from a multitude of acoustic dimensions. The Masquerade is full of subliminal drama and perfidious complexity. Whereas The Lessons are dominated by the dreamy voice of singer Ann Jasmund that expands over a heaving patchwork of warm harmony. Some of the weightless piano and synthesizer chords from Magnetic Ribbons got stuck between the percussive rhythms of Mollono.Bass and are taken away to his wondrous universe of sound. The original version with its playful bass line is included as a bonus on the digital version. Easily digestible yet very powerful and stimulating – just like good music for the summer should be!
