Launched in 2010, THE REFLEX is a project from producer / DJ Nicolas Laugier, a French national based in the UK since 1998. Following on the footsteps of remix / DJ edit pioneers Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone, François Kevorkian or John Luongo, The Reflex somewhat redefined the remix rules book by using stems and multitracks to craft fresh, innovative versions (dubbed ’revisions’) from classics tracks and artists, genre-hopping through the decades and styles with ease, combining creativity and functionality with often spectacular results.
With constant support from superstar DJs, tastemakers, A-list artists and creatives to high profile brands / events through to bedroom DJ’s, The Reflex revisions are now part of the musical landscape.

Clocking over 100M+ streams, The Reflex is a multi-faceted artist that has lent his skills to ads for Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld, to remixes for the biggest names in pop and dance music, to extensive catalogue revisits for the likes of London Records, Salsoul/Westend and Zagora/Because, to a long standing collaboration with Noel Gallagher and to legendary artists like Joe Walsh (Eagles), Cerrone, Kathy Sledge, Blondie, Michel Polnareff, Nile Rodgers, Rita Lee, Kid Creole and more.
Boasting a strong online following and a loyal fanbase, including 322,000+ fans on YouTube, The Reflex is now ready to move into original productions; his first artist track “Weekend” has been snapped up by Glitterbox for release in May, with Ibiza / Malta gigs and a Defected Basement mix lined up to support the arrival of this first single.
On his own vinyl label Discolidays, The Reflex has collaborated with Because Music in Paris re-imagining the catalogue from (Daft Punk) Thomas Bangalter’s father, Daniel Vangarde, and his label Zagora while showcasing his remix work for Cerrone, Patrice Rushen, D.C. LaRue, Nile Rodgers ft Nubiyan Twist, Bruise and others to commercial and critical acclaim.

As a DJ, The Reflex sets are energy-packed workouts firmly rooted into disco / house / balearic territory somewhere between trainspotters’ paradise and revision anthems, with an ability to adapt to audiences and venues through his 20+ years DJ experience.

Anyone who spent the best years through the 90s into the early oughties in San Francisco, and the last decade in the LA underground knows the name TK is synonymous with inimitable dance floor-rocking expertise of the highest caliber. 
Whether solo in his former extended guise as TK Disko, in collaborative formations as Split Secs along with his label Machine Limited co-founder SONNS, or readying the world for retrofuturist rave rockers as Warehouse Preservation Society with DJ Tavish, 1/3 of Second Language with Pacific Horizons, or as founding member of notorious DJ and production collective 40 Thieves, quality comes first and foremost - along with ensuring everyone sweating under the mirror ball is having a damn good time.

TK cut his teeth as a mainstay of legendary SF venues such as The Trocadero, Transfer, DV8, Bulletproof, Sunset and King Street Garage. He’s one of the few local SF DJs invited to guest at the legendary Wicked nights and was picked by DJ Harvey as the resident warm up for his running Rx night. Drawing on a deep knowledge of music history as a selector in the classic sense, TK effortlessly traverses many styles, eras, and continents, mixing in new and old, making both sound fresh and relevant, with sonic excitement guaranteed. In addition to playing alongside some the greatest names in the field from Jeff Mills, Tony Humphries and Pal Joey to Idjut Boys, Optimo and beyond, TK clocks late hours in the studio concocting fresh forward-thinking sounds for the future, as only a bona fide veteran with a deeply-rooted past like he can.

A man who has lived and breathed house music since he was a teenager, with over 20 years of dedication to the global electronic music scene, his contribution can’t be over exaggerated. Yousef has now completed his 5th artist album, the truly accomplished “I Operate in Purple”.
The project has invited a series of world class musicians and singers to help Yousef realise his ambition to release a 14-track legacy project that leans upon his two decades in at the forefront of house music and plans to stand up next to the great dance music albums of our time. IOP eloquently manoeuvrers through original vocals, radio ready crossover and the emotive underground. Each track comes with its own individual and original 3D video that reveals the narrative Yousef has created. This is easily Yousef most unforgettable work he has ever created. 

Yousef’s powerhouse record label Circus Recordings has released music from many of the world’s most significant names, from Carl Cox to Kerri Chandler to Green Velvet to Jamie Jones, all while breaking completely new artists from all over the world directly to give them a much-needed platform. Yousef’s trusted voice led him to be requested to represent electronic music community for a private meeting with ‘HRH Prince William’ the future King of England, and later with many leading MP’s, to relay the difficulties dance music is facing through before and since covid. These efforts helped pave the way for Yousef’s Circus event to be asked to take on the colossal task to organise ‘The First Dance’, the world’s first sanctioned music test event since covid struck… The monumental event captured the attention of the entire world and its major media, with 7 billion online and news engagements, and is now cited as ‘one of the most significant moments in electronic music history”’. Yousef & Circus were given the BBC “Impact Award” on Radio One for all the work done to help the music industry in 2021
