I've been sitting on this beat for years, and last weekend Distant sent me the snippet I posted on Instagram when I made it asking if I ever dropped it. I almost never post a snippet of a beat and then never drop a beat, and to be honest I'd completely forgotten about this one. Decided to see if I could get a remix working, and after listening to the beat again I immediately thought of this song by Onyx. Not really sure why, I just felt like the two would blend well together. This sample was absolutely bodied in the Mobb Deep Survival Of The Fittest Remix from the 90s 12" release, definitely check that if you haven't heard it. Peace!!
