In times where DJs are often abused as “glorified jukeboxes” forced to play “what the crowd wants and what is popular” Dj Iwonder decided that would not be his fate. “A great DJ does not always have to give the people what they want and when they want it. A great DJ feels the room and reads the crowd. He creates an atmosphere and plays material his audience needs to hear. He will play music that is relevant and current without forgetting that he is there to rock the party.
Dj Iwonder truly is an open-format DJ. He selects music depending on the theme of the night, the crowd, and the atmosphere of the venue. Very few DJs in the Montreal scene can claim to be as versatile and versed in so many different styles of music as this gentleman is. He can play anything from 70s Disco, Funk and Soul to classic 90s  RnB and soulful contemporary Hip Hop, Dance Hall & Reggae, Afro beat & Latin rhythms to NuJazz, Broken Beat, UK Garage & Bass music to Soulful & Deep House.

Showtiime is one of the most authentic Canadian reggae singer and song writer. Showtime comes to the forefront of the dancehall with a bunch of hardcore rhymes and Intriguing hooks, as a musician he works primarily in the areas of Dancehall and Reggae. Showtiime is undoubtedly one of the most interesting lyricist. 

Showtiime who's real name is Andre Smith was born august 23, 1990 in Montego Bay, Jamaica; one of Jamaica's music capitals. However it was not until he migrated to Toronto, Canada that he adapted the style of composing his own songs in which he exposes his true lyrical content in the streets.

His first attempt to write lyrics on paper was at the age of 15 by the age of 16 he was already recording his own records, while living in Toronto he balanced his education and the groundwork of a solo music career. To master his skill Showtime would frequently attend local stage shows and record music in and around local recording studios.

2012, marked the year that catapulted the "young veteran" into the spotlight after entering the marketing and promoting industry, driven by ambition his personable skills instantly the Starboy found himself working with a number of industry heavyweights.

Since his entry into the the entertainment industry, Showtime founded Mod Ah Road Squad, and released his first song "Drink Mi A Drink" this soon led to a cult-like underground following of young fans. However it was the music video for the breakout hit single ‘Early In The Morning’ that gained him the attention of the local Canadian music industry.

He has recently penned and performed dozens of songs including other hits like "Lovers And Friends" and "Island Breeze" that have created a significantly growing buzz among reggae/dancehall fans. He's also steadily acquiring new fans from across genres due to the pop influenced sound of his songs and the increased exposure that he's receiving via the internet in addition to radio play on some of the most popular radio stations. 

With a big smile and an engaging personality, he confidently set out to make his mark in music, one can only describe "Showtime's" style of singing as unique because of his well constructed lyrics and his energetic deliverance. Showtime is a very spiritual enthusiast and in addition to "loving life and his music to the fullest" he lists fashion and comedy as his passions.

This talented young Artist has an indescribable passion for music and credits his versatility, his professional stage presence and passion to his father David, who always shared his own musical views and experiences which encouraged Showtiime to go one step beyond with each performance, his family and friends know the ‘sky is the limit’ for this young man who sees ‘music as his mission.
