The single includes 3 outstanding remixes by Balthazar & JackRock, Giorgio Rusconi and Tom Laws. The release already received early support by many top DJs.

Soma welcome Glasgow based DJ/producer Secluded aka Hans Bouffmyhre to the label as he debuts with us with his fantastic Mercy EP. Hans has become quite the force in the underground techno scene over the last few years with releases on the likes of Electric Deluxe and, of course, his own Sleaze imprint. With Soma, he brings out his Secluded alias which strips things back with the aim to explore a new techno vibe, inspired by sounds from Berlin & Detroit. Secluded productions are characterised with a deep pounding beat, softened by dubby synth passages and deep soundscapes, creating a gloomy atmosphere. Also appearing on the EP are two peak time Remixes from ROD.

Title track Mercy opens the EP with an old school chord driving this monster from Secluded. Backed perfectly with on point percussion and a quite healthy kick drum, this track certainly sets the tone for the EP  

Pastures takes things on a suitably deeper turn. With a pulsing sub bass rattling through you and a resonated synth line that eerily creeps in, taking the track upwards. Simple yet effect drums work this track straight onto the dance floor as Secluded created a perfect peak time Techno workout.

After his fantastic reworks of Slams Positive Education, ROD is back to bring his unique, old school, jackin’ take on Secluded’s Mercy. Remix One uses the original chord filtered & processed as 909 drums punch in and out to devastating effect. Remix Two loops out the chord sample making this a more hypnotic, looped out jackin techno number.

Alex Di Stefano - Kashmir (Melody Mix) [Preview]

Peter Bailey is a talented producer and makes his debut statement on Transmit. 'Jungle Luv' arrives first with a nasty techno vibe, beautiful effects, all combined with great drum patterns in order to make this simple irresistible. Next on the line is the remix by The Junkies, which is a bit more intense with a nice driving bassline and chunky drum kicks accompany some smooth percussions elements. A solid effort here. The release closes with 'Come Get It' and this track is pure techno material. Heavy dark bassline featuring some subtle atmospheric effects, the result once again is brilliant. A very good release here on Transmit by Peter Bailey, an amazingly talented producer. Watch out, this is simply massive.

The stars rarely align between Gregor Tresher and Petar Dundov's hectic schedules. But when they do, techno planets collide with explosive results. This earth-shattering production partnership began in 2011 with the still-stunning "Duo Tone" EP on Music Man. A trio of releases have followed during the last three years, including the almighty "Superconductor" on Cocoon 100 last summer. Fresh for 2014, the German/Croatian pact goes next-level with this firing slab of rich, majestic techno on Gregor's own imprint Break New Soil. Living up to its name, "Taurus" ignites with bullish precision. Pummelling with a classic palpitating bass and kick roll, percussive elements are gradually introduced before the shimmering riff enters the fray. Tingling with every twist and tweak, this will raise hairs on the back of every neck with a ten mile radius. For added measure, the duo have also included the Chord mix. Galvanising the same rhythmic mischief with full focus on the undulating bass, it's slippery, slinky and drenched in drama. A perfect DJ tool to tease in with the original mix, or a heads-down mission into the darkest corners of the dancefloor: this version ripples and ruffles in equal measure. Finally we hit "Flux". Taking a slightly softer, more melodic approach, here we find Gregor and Petar weaving a tight web of rushy arpeggios and subtle rhythmic keys. Arranged with detailed dynamism, every element spirals and surges to create full crowd meltdown. A truly special release, we can't wait until Gregor and Petar's schedule stars align again!

Warped female vocals are the show-stopper here, the rocksteady rhythm section chugs away effortlessly and huge washes add to the tense vibe. In the distance, haunting synths race against time and intertwine with chaotic reverberations. Paride Saraceni opts for a dubbier approach and employs his rubber-band bass and skipping drums. Looking to his effects box for the extra magic, he creates the trademarked cavernous atmosphere that he is known for.

 &#8220;Spank Box&#8221; gives a firm nod to the techier side of things, mainly due to the loopy percussion patterns and pulsating bassline. The vibe is more dubbed-out here and the mysterious breakdown acts as a welcomed breather to the tense atmosphere.

Having made his debut on Drumcode in January, the evergreen Italian producer is back with another four-track EP to follow up the enormously well received ‘Prisma’ EP.  Supported by DJ’s from across the spectrum from Drumcode stalwarts like Alan Fitzpatrick (Prisma) and Slam (Self Control) to house music legend Erick Morillo (Back To Zero), Paganini’s reputation within techno circles is well established with a recent discography that boasts Plus 8, Form and Octopus Recordings alongside Drumcode.

Eros sets the tone for the EP with a hypnotic fusion of mechanical robot funk pitched to a shunting percussive groove that weaves its way through subtle washes of faint vocal snippets. Egoism ups the intensity with a cavernous big room workout that pairs heavyweight throbbing bass and harmonic rhythms to create a deep, snaking sonic ride.   
The Gypsy slips back down through the gears to work up a bumping groove that combines exotic tribal rhythms with otherworldly effects and wonky vocoder vocals. Finally, Wooden Toys continues the percussive feel of the EP with a slamming tech cut built on a swaying groove and punctuated with distinct rhythms and drawn out pads.

Having met at a Berlin production school, Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix were always going to be touched by the spirit of techno. But having formed as Pan-Pot in 2005, their studio mastery has seen them grow into masters of piston-pumping machine music. Regulars on Anja Schneider's Mobilee label, they dropped their debut album 'Pan-O-Rama' in 2007 then more recently 'Back To Back Vol.Six', a compilation, mix and documentary. How's that for completeness? Catch them in London on 27th October for the Drumcode Halloween Fright Night, at Great Suffolk Street Warehouse, where they'll be appearing alongside Maetrik, Adam Beyer and more.
