Is it Postulative? (official key is D flat major) is a fansong project started in January of 2025 with the idea of Baldi singing a tune for his first teaching demo. It all started with 'POSTULATIVE (shh)'. This is the song's main tune and chorus! 'A + B = C' is a scrapped melody that will be unused for the final project. 'Is it Postulative?' is the thought-out instrumental of the song, including jazz instruments. With further insight from other musicians and listeners, the song will not use it. For the song itself, many may be asking what on earth does the title mean. Postulative is a made up word consisting of "postulate" and the suffix "-ive". Postulates are geometric math terms and are used for geometry proofs. It simply is a reason for a statement to be proved right. Baldi now uses it to prove himself liable with the students and staff members. This isn't a canon song but an interpretation of how Baldi even got his job. The questions asked are, "What did he say? What were his tactics?" These will be answered in the Demo and official song.
