This is a mix of classic '90s deep house from Italy. I found most of these records in the early '90s in Ireland. The others came from digging in thrift stores and bargain bins all over the San Francisco Bay Area.

RENZO MASTER FUNK aka R M F
Renzo Master Funk aka R M F classe 1957 inizia ad avvicinarsi alla consolle proprio nei primi anni ’70 quando le balere e le sale da ballo incominciavano ad assumere le sembianze di discoteche passando per la musica rock, soul, funky, jazz, disco, punk, wave, psichedelica, rap, elettrofunk,… fino ad arrivare a Riccione nei primi anni ’80 [vedi: Insomnia-Cattolica, Lili’ Marleen-Misano Adriatico (diventato poi Vae Victis-Echoes-Liz), Ripadiscoscesa-Rimini, Kinki-Bologna, Graffio-Modena, Manila-Firenze, Vidia-Cesena, Plegyne-Firenze,…] poi l’avvento della “House Music” nel 1984 che ha rappresentato un grosso cambiamento per Renzo anche nel nome Renzo “Master Funk” e che lo ha visto in Italia come uno dei primissimi dj promotori di questo genere; per questo motivo e’ uno dei protagonisti principali del film-documentario sulla “House Music” in Italia (1984-1994) “Italo House Story” (*) della key note multimedia; da qui in avanti comincia la storia piu’ conosciuta di R M F al pubblico delle discoteche odierne, le sue collaborazioni come dj resident con i disco clubs piu’ prestigiosi d’Italia [Peter Pan-Riccione, Pascia’-Riccione, Spirity Club-Carpi, Paradiso-Rimini, Cellophane-Miramare, Harem/Insomnia Zone-Misano Adriatico (diventato poi Vae Victis-Echoes-Liz), Club dei Nove Nove-Gradara, Gina-Modena, Gossip-Roma, Fixx Pescara, Underground City-Popoli….] nel 1989 tramite Maurizio Clemente (suo amico/agente “Caus’n Effect”) e’ il primo dj italiano di “House Music” che suona a Tokyo al “Gold” ed al “Can U Still Dance” assieme a un dj Harvey ancora ragazzino, suona anche a Londra al “Confusion de Londra” di Kid Batchelor, poi ritorna all’estero nel 1995  al “Mach One” di Norimberga con Danny Tenaglia.....
Ancora oggi R M F riesce con le sue sonorita’ sempre diverse e i suoi ritmi armoniosamente aggressivi a coinvolgere il pubblico dei disco clubs che si rispecchia nella sua musica mai banale e sempre all’avanguardia.

RENZO MASTER FUNK aka R M F
Renzo Master Funk aka RMF 1957 class starts to approach the console right in the early 70's when balloons and dance halls began to take on the look of discos through rock, soul, funky, jazz, disco, punk, wave music , psychedelic, rap, electrofunk, ... until arriving in Riccione in the early 1980s [see Insomnia-Cattolica, Lili 'Marleen-Misano Adriatico (now Vae Victis-Echoes-Liz), Ripadiscoscesa-Rimini, Kinki-Bologna, Graffio-Modena, Manila-Florence, Vidia-Cesena, Plegyne-Florence, ...] and then the advent of "House Music" in 1984 which was a big change for Renzo also in the name Renzo "Master Funk" in Italy as one of the first dj promoters of this genre; for this reason he is one of the main protagonists of the documentary film "House Music" in Italy (1984-1994) "Italo House Story" (*) of the Key Note Multimedia; From here onwards begins the most well-known story of RMF in the audience of today's discos, his collaborations as dj resident with the most prestigious disco clubs in Italy (Peter Pan-Riccione, Pascia-Riccione, Spirity Club-Carpi, Paradiso-Rimini, Cellophane-Miramare, Harem / Insomnia Zone-Misano Adriatico (now Vae Victis-Echoes-Liz), Club dei Nove Nove-Gradara, Gina-Modena, Gossip-Roma, Fixx Pescara, Underground City Popoli .... ] in 1989 via Maurizio Clemente (his friend / agent "Caus'n Effect") is the first Italian dj of "House Music" that plays in Tokyo at "Gold" and "Can U Still Dance" with a dj Harvey still a kid, also plays in London at "Confusion de London" by Kid Batchelor, then returns abroad in 1995 to "Mach One" in Nuremberg with Danny Tenaglia .....
Even today, R M F plays with its ever-changing sonority and its harmoniously aggressive rhythms to engage the audience of disco clubs that is reflected in its ever banal and always avant-garde music.
