We have put together numerous layers of machines and distortion elements with Insektus from Orbital Inztitut, as usual we would like to recommend you to listen on a satysfactory soundsystem or headphones.

The White Plague {Bílá Nemoc} is a play written by the Czech novelist and one of our pioneering sci-fi authors Karel Čapek. The book itself was written in the sinister shade of the rising nazi regime in Germany, slowly threating Czechoslovakia.

Jesus NSKdjs aka JZX and I took the samples from the 1937 movie (directed by Hugo Haas) based on Čapek's novel, resulting in this epic Psytek composition. 

Let this be the representation of our disgust pointed towards fascism, nazism and authoritative systems. 

P.S. There is one more hidden meaning to the "White disease"...

This track is roughly inspired by Jaroslav Foglar's novels about Rychlé Šípy, which contain numerous stories about a fearless crew of 5 scouts. The comics, books and short stories are considered a cult classic.

Probably the most famous from all is "Záhada Hlavolamu", which takes place in the mysterious and dark city district "Stínadla" - a place full of old houses, abandoned churches, myths and shadows. It is believed, that the author was inspired by the old city of Prague during the period of the second world war.

In the book, the crew of boys are on the pursuit for The Hedgehog in the cage - a long lost steel rebus containing blueprints for the construction of a flying bicycle. The sinister hook of the story is the fact, that the young inventor of the flying bicycle Jan Tleskač was murdered by a hidden fiend.

We have sampled the brilliant movie from 1993 and used some of its ominous and eerie atmosphere.

We recommend to play this track on a decent soundsystem, we did some things with the sounddesign. Mastering of the track was done in the studio of the magnificent Pozek.

This is how Repartee was born as a crew, soundsystem, and independent label. After the first productions on SoundCloud with various artists available for free download (FreeKout) and single EPs exploring the most distinctive electronic sounds (DGTL), the focus shifted from digital to physical. Three records have been released by Repartee Rec and two by the sub-label People from Other Planets (by Fiero). Throughout its evolution in parties, music and art; collaboration between artists remains the core of this reality.
