BTONE is an up-and-coming producer from Long Island, New York. He is primarily concentrated on, but not limited to, sample based production with a sound mostly compared to "Mainstream East Coast Hip Hop". Though he stays true to his sound, his wide range of samples/sounds used, makes his beats versatile and stand out among the competition. After eight years of pursuing a career as a tv producer and getting nominated for two Emmys, Jermaine Price quit his job to pursue his true passion as a hip hop artist. He has since gotten writing credits on Twista’s song Rise - Hope 2020 Remix.

 

His single “Speak Your Truth” has received shoutouts from major artists such as Redman, Joel Ortiz and Ras Kass. Speak Your Truth received praise from all hosts and callers on Sway Universe's "Get In The Game" segment. His most recent single "The Reason" is now in rotation on Sway's Universe after a unanimous decision from all callers requesting it remain in rotation. He was featured on Sway's Universe as Amon Re the 8th Sign until Tyra Banks renamed him Jermaine Price The Reason. 
Having recently wrapped up his 5-track EP Let Us Pray, Amon Re is ready to release the material he’s been sitting on since 2015. “I just wasn’t in a good place with music mentally,” he explains. Mixed and mastered by Marsten House Recording’s Steve Sxacks in Philadelphia, the EP is buoyed with a lead single in the form of its title track, which will be followed up by “Lonely People,” which he describes as “my my personal feelings of loneliness and how society is a bunch of lonely people looking for a connection through social media without actually connecting with another human.” Amon Re is also working on New Strange Fruit, a collaborative project with Italian producer Dirty Meth Dopamina, slated for an imminent release on all major streaming and buying sites. Citing Big Pun’s Capital Punishment as the musical backdrop to his teenage years (and Slick Rick’s “Children’s Story” as an example of the kind of timeless music he hopes to make), he credits his mom’s old record collection as the fertile ground in which he would sow his own musical tastes.
