With 2020 ending, we're happy to announce our last release of the year featuring another long overdue return to the label. Bassment is an integral part of the Counterpoint team, and he was the head behind the first ever release on our label. He now returns for a second EP on Counterpoint, with special guest - Philth delivering a heavy weight "Tech Remix".

Since his debut on Counterpoint, Bassment has been patiently perfecting his craft, landing several releases along the way, on labels like Fokuz, Citrus and Skalator Music. We always set the bar extremely high for our in-house talent, and this EP is a statement for it. Three tracks which convey a peak into the artists mind, and how he manages to blend his background in Architecture into his music. The release closes off with a “Tech Remix” from London based artist – Philth who delivers a crisp and hard-hitting twist on the most musical track of the EP.

With this very strange year on its final chapter, we want to send out love to everyone in the industry, who has been working hard to keep pushing the scene forward through unprecedented times. Let's hope 2021 is the year we all need. Happy Holidays, and love to you and yours.

Soul Deep Digital and Insideman are proud to announce the release of the ‘Electrotype EP’, which is now available in all major digital stores and streaming sites.  The West London native returns to Soul Deep after the 2019 release of the impressive ‘Almost EP’.  The title track to the EP, “Electrotype,” kicks things off with its fluttering synth pads, techy stabs, steady 2 step drums, and a sweeping sub bassline.  “Putin’ You Down,” is up next and features shuffling drums, pulsing synth leads, and edgy bassline.  “Liminal Spaces,” is up next and is highlighted by atmospheric synth pads, swirling key stabs, and soft ticking drums.  Lastly, the EP is topped off with the soulful roller called, “Love Child.”  The song features a chunky 2 step break, revolving synth loop, and a bassline  made up of an edgy sub blended with bouncy 808  bassline kicks.
