Samson Lewis is a music producer / remixer and DJ currently based in Birmingham, UK. He has gained recognition for his enthusiasm and energy as a producer and performer. His signature sound blends his influences from U.S Garage & House, UK Garage, Deep / Soulful House to Funk, Soul and Disco and has consequently given him fans around the world. 

Samson, who was born in the West Midlands in 1991, has continued to gain recognition since his first release in 2008 for his unique style. To date, he has released 96 originals and remixes for record labels such as: Soulfuric Records, King Street Sounds, Soulheat Records and many others. He has also worked on many projects as a producer and engineer. He’s had many successes including: the 2009 remix of ‘Rockin With Attitude’ featured on BBC radio 1Xtra; coming 4th place in the Traxsource remix competition of Hardsoul & Ron Carroll - Back Together; official re-release remixes of legendary tracks like ‘Danny J Lewis - Spend The Night, ‘ Nightcrawlers’ and ‘Everything But The Girl’ and many original works that have received regular charted successes on sites such as Traxsource and Beatport. In addition, he has had international radio exposure on both UK, Irish and Belgian radio, which has earned him support and praise from artists such as Grant Nelson, Miguel Migs, CJ Mackintosh, Booker T and Richard Earnshaw to name just a few.

As well as producing and remixing, Samson Lewis has been Djing consistently since the age of 13. Over the years he has played at hundreds of venues and events right across the UK and Europe including Spain, France and most notably at Space in Ibiza back in 2011; to date he holds multiple residencies at some of Birmingham’s hottest nightlife spots such as Aluna, Gaucho, Digbeth Dining Club and many more along with his own monthly event ‘Main Vibe’ which was set up in 2019 at one of Birminghams hottest new venues ‘Stag’ inside Birmingham’s iconic Custard Factory. Samson Lewis is often praised for his ability to deliver his unique signature sounds while ensuring they’re adapted to each venue and event. He is highly passionate about the art of DJing and is always working hard to perfect his technical skills and music selection.

2020 marked the start of many exciting projects and events, however the global pandemic try’d to put a stop to everything with venues closed for most of the year and nation wide lockdowns, despite this Samson took this opportunity to set up his own mix series titled ‘Main Vibe Sessions’ running from April 2020 along with a record label titled Main Vibe Music as he had planned to. Main Vibe Music was launched on the 3rd October 2020 with its first release ‘Save Us Now’ featuring Danish artist / singer Ann Mimoun released on 27th November 2020. From the off Save Us Now got picked up by DJ Niall Redmond and played on Irish national radio station RTE Pulse and reached 71 in the Traxsource Deep House chart!

2021 marked another year of restrictions however Samson still pushed on with his regular mixes and releases dropping ‘Save Us Now - The Remixes’ on Main Vibe Music on 29th January 2021 with remixes from great UK talants including UK Garage producer Danny J Lewis reaching as high as 76 in the Traxsource Soulful House Chart.
