Both respected players of progressive scene, Cid Inc and Dmitry Molosh have enjoyed exciting careers. Producer, DJ and Mastering Engineer, Swedish powerhouse, Cid Inc has releases on a whos who of labels and has played at all the leading clubs and festivals. Equally, Belarusian pioneer Dmitry has been trailblazing for nearly a decade and continues to have a gig diary taking him around the world. 

Opening with the title track, 'Impending Storm', the pairs unique influences find a perfect middle ground in subtle tribal drumwork. Gathering pace slowly over the first half with some nuanced layering, the track really fires off as the main break hits. With tension building throughout, the second half is trademark peak time. 

Next up, 'Coalition' takes a deeper path. Twinkling arps and rising pads draw you in as the percussive underbelly becomes more pronounced. Proper journey prog, the sonic tale they unfold keeps you hooked until the final beat. Finally, Dutch favorite, Navar reimagines 'Impending Storm'. Sub heavy drums and a skippy percussion framework clever sonic reconstruction, as Navar takes us down a dark, late night trail full of dirty synths and grimey intentions.

Continuing a strong fall season, Clubsonica Records welcomes Matan Caspi back to the label for a new single. Highly regarded by his fans and contemporaries, the Tel Aviv resident is considered one of the most refreshing electronic music talents to come out of Israel. Having the distinction as one of the most Top 10 charted artists in Beatport's Progressive House section, Matan has showcased his music via a plethora of major labels, most notably Anjunabeats, Armada, Spinnin and Universal Music. March of 2018 marked Matan's Clubsonica debut with the well-received Crosswinds', before going on to contribute a track to the label's Miami Music Week' sampler a few short weeks later. Following projects for his Outta Limits imprint, Matan now returns to Clubsonica with a new single entitled Serengeti', alongside remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Juan Pablo Torrez and Dabeat.

Continuing what has been a fruitful year, Matan steps forward with Serengeti' which showcases his originality and sophistication as an artist. Anchored by a warm, muscular groove and smooth rhythmic pulses, the energy is striking from the outset. Cross cultural vocal phrasing steals the air as the first act evolves, elegantly moving through a forest of exotic drums and sweeping effects. Carrying into the main break, guitar slides add further musicality, marrying beautifully with fragmented vocals as waves of effects and drums unite for an exhilarating crescendo and suitably large finale.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of Serengeti' is Dmitry Molosh. Widely regarded as a top tier talent in the progressive music scene, Dmitry's long-standing relationship with Clubsonica dates back to 2016 with a contribution to the label's ADE' sampler. The Belarusian artist would then go on to deliver two singles and a remix over the next four years. Now a veteran of the progressive house underground, Dmitry continues to showcase his music on the genre's premiere imprints, such as Cid Inc's Replug Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Continuing what has been a prolific year, Dmitry now returns to Clubsonica with a spellbinding rendition of Serengeti'. A perfect balance of warmth and drive provides the foundation for fluid rhythms, buoyant arps and flickering percussion to work their magic. Sleeker and more hypnotic than the original, its peak time sensibility resonates across the first act, as icy pads provide a bridge into the main break, relieving tension for moments of tonal warmth, as a steady build sparks goosebump worthy moments, onwards to a thumping finale.

The release concludes with Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez and occasional studio partner Dabeat providing the second and final interpretation of Serengeti'. Operating from the heart of Colombia's electronic music scene, this talented duo has collaborated in the past with exceptional results. A combined discography reveals a host of highly regarded landing spots, with Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Beatfreak, Perspectives Digital and Proton Music being the most notable. Beloved as their country's foremost progressive music talents, Juan and Dabeat now unite once again for a special collaborative remix of Serengeti'. Warm and shapely, an undulating groove sits at the root of the track, providing the perfect backbone for reprocessed vocals and organic drums to delicately dance above. The Mediterranean moods from the original delight across the first act, bringing newfound musicality as wispy effects raise tension leading into the main break. Looking to bring greater emotional depth, the centrepiece proves impactful with fragmented arps, buzzing bass swells and poignant chord changes banding together for a spirited crescendo and glowing final movement. An inspired remix from Juan Pablo Torrez and Dabeat once again, capping off a welcome return to Clubsonica Records for Matan Caspi.

Created as vehicle to showcase the Belarusian’s extraordinary talent alongside an array of high-profile and rising names, Proportion launches with an eponymously titled EP with an original track from Dmitry himself plus a remix from Finnish legend, Cid Inc.

Dmitry Molosh has presided over a stellar career path. Rising rapidly to global prominence from his Belarus home, Dmitry has witnessed a steep upwards trajectory where his music has reached out across nation boundaries, engaging listeners with a distinctive, powerful and forward-thinking sound. Over 500 production credits can thus be credited to the Dmitry Molosh name as he continues to find his musical talents in considerable demand. Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Gai Barone’s Afterglow, Nick Warren’s Hope and Cid Inc.’s Replug have all showcased the Belarusian’s distinctive sound, while US leviathan Proton Music has also featured an array of original and remix material. Supported by the DJ glitterati that include Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Khen, alongside the celebrated label heads, Dmitry Molosh now opens his account on Proportion.

The title track of the same name is a stunning affair. Redolent in the trademark characteristics that have made him such a sought-after producer, a chest-thumping kick anchors a glorious, head-shaking bass groove and woodblock percussion. Ticking hi-hats add to the collage as a beautifully imagined synth motif filters its way across the 8-minute piece. A further bassline adds weight and dynamism before a stripped back breakdown creates a gateway for a rousing crescendo of white-noise and pitched effects. These then pave the way for the sultry bassline cadence and synth line so prominent in the early stages, to work their magic once more in the second half.

Cid Inc. require little introduction to the underground dance faithful. A legendary figure for two decades, the Finnish star has been responsible for entertaining audiences around the world with his immaculately crafted DJ sets while creating some the finest moments in modern electronic music history. Seeing his work featured on legion luminary imprints that includes the likes Lost & Found, Einmusika JEE Productions and Sudbeat Music, the latter saw Dmitry Molosh & Cid Inc. join forces on August 2021’s “Impending Storm” to devastating effect. A stellar career within the electronic music industry has seen Jamie Stevens rise to the very top of his profession. Making his full Meanwhile EP debut, the 3-track “Circles” continues his illustrious story.

A double ARIA winning artist with iconic live act, Infusion, Jamie Stevens’ solo career is no less impressive. A veteran of the global DJ circuit with performances at Womb (Tokyo), Fabric (London) and across his native Australia and Melbourne hometown, Stevens has continued to see productions feature regularly in the upper echelons of the progressive house chart.

With almost 400 production credits to his name, Dave Seaman’s Selador, John Digweed’s Bedrock and Guy J’s Lost & Found have all played host to the unique Jamie Stevens sound on multiple occasions as he continues to go from strength to strength. A meticulous approach to his production work and unrivalled attention to detail is coupled with a wider ability to see the bigger musical picture and his music infused with warm tonality and rich rhythmic patterns.

Returning to Meanwhile after a remix of Roger Martinez’s “Cosmic Drum” in late 2020, the “Circles” title track is characterised by a pounding club-friendly beat, while shades of Giorgio Moroder shimmer through the percussive groove and syncopated melodic elements. Building in hypnotic patterns, vocal shouts and a liberal sprinkling of reverse reverb effects and white-noise washes, join forces in a glorious harmony to create a typically impressive body-shaking floor-filler.

The aptly titled “Storm Front” quickly emerges with a subtle tension imbued within it. Continuing on the same mesmerising footing as its predecessor, an immaculately crafted groove, redolent in sub-bass and off-beat percussive roll, powers through the 8-minute timeframe. Subtly synthesised and reverb drenched vocal cuts shimmer across the upper-range throughout, making their presence fully felt at the breakdown before the driving elemental force of the central groove drops back into place through the seething third movement.

The final musical image of the sonic triptych has a softer musical vibe brought about by a swathe of complementary harmonic phrases. A beautiful central motif marries elegantly with a smooth vocoded vocal that gently sings the “Stuck on a Feeling” title. Rising and falling with ease Stevens evokes a warm summer evening vibe with his beautiful arrangement. Where the opening pair of tracks hypnotized through powerful rhythmic structures, the final track oozes spellbinding warmth with its glittering array of analogue synth phrasing.

Three “Circles” find Jamie Stevens drawing a vivid sonic picture that elegantly shows the logical relation between rhythm, melody and energy in a precise musical Venn diagram.

The latest release from Clubsonica Records welcomes Sebastian Busto back to the label for his debut EP. Widely regarded for crafting the deep and progressive spectrums of house, the Buenos Aires resident has long been a favourite of world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. His groovy yet musical approach to the genre has seen the Argentine compile an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Proton's Particles, Sudbeat Music and The Soundgarden. No stranger to Clubsonica, Sebastian played a role in the label's formative years, recording two well-received remixes across 2016 and 2017. Now, on the strength of a contribution to Sudbeat's 'Showcrates' 11 collection earlier this year, Sebastian makes a welcome return to Clubsonica with 'Chaos Theory | Sanctuary', alongside remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Andres Moris.

EP opener 'Chaos Theory' finds Sebastian operating at the peak of his creative powers. Fuelled by rhythm and groove; its smooth swing-heavy basslines and flickering percussive arrangements resonate on a transcendent level. Fluid and energetic across the first movement, Sebastian continues his stylized ways with timely chord changes and fluttery motifs creating a colourful path into the main break. Sitting comfortably in an emotive yet thought provoking space, broken beats melt away into a calming vortex of melody and colour as the interlude evolves, eventually spearheading a groove-centric drop and smooth finale. Meanwhile, the companion piece 'Sanctuary' lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship, as Sebastian reaffirms his progressive music prowess, planting multiple explosions of serotonin through transcendent melodies, vocal overlays and balmy atmospherics. Clever co-actions make for a break that is both poignant and otherworldly, flowing through glassy motifs and cascading melodies, before confidently returning to the groove for a sweeping aerial finale

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Chaos Theory' is Dmitry Molosh. The Belarus based producer sits firmly in progressive music's elite class of artists, showcasing his creations via Cid Inc's Replug Records, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren's Hope Recordings and Balance Music. 2022 has continued Dmitry's chart dominance, with his latest Deepwibe Underground vehicle 'Resistance' enjoying a six-week run near the top of Beatport's progressive house section. Now, following a remix for Kostya Outta's 'Imagine', Dmtiry returns to Clubsonica with a thrilling take on 'Chaos Theory'. While maintaining the uplifting spirit of the original, the Belarusian artist crafts a sweeping sonic experience all his own, a peak-time journey into a progressive wonderland, where flowing grooves and fresh designs surface from their uniquely crafted architecture, onwards to a finale of thumping grooves and harmonic refrains.

The release concludes with Andres Moris with the lone interpretation of 'Sanctuary'. Based in Argentina, Andres Moris has been one of progressive music's more prolific remixers over the last two calendar years. With a contribution to Meanwhile's 'Excursions' Vol. 2 collection highlighting the summer season, Andres now makes his Clubsonica debut with a powerful take on 'Sanctuary'. Warm and inviting throughout; its re-shaped low end provides a funkier anchor for balmy effects and heavenly sonics to work their magic. A blissful centrepiece sits at the heart of the journey, highlighted by evolving atmospherics and bulbous bass swells, which perfectly set the stage for a transcendent finale. A gorgeous interpretation from Andres, which rounds out an excellent artist EP for Sebastian Busto, another one of Argentina's trend-setting progressive producers who continues to stake his claim as one of the genre's best.

In celebration of Replug's ten year anniversary Cid Inc & Orsen present their debut collaboration alongside remixes from Nick Muir and Barry Jamieson. Founded in 2009 by Finnish artist and DJ Henri Hurtig aka Cid Inc., Replug has carefully forged a path to progressive music excellence. Through releasing much of Henri's most sought after material to the genre's freshest artists, the label has continued to flourish and forever has it's finger on the pulse of the movement. Having already released his ‘Look Twice' EP in March of 2015, it was January of 2016 which saw UK born, Austria based artist Dan Baseley aka Orsen take over the label's managerial duties. A key moment in Replug's journey, as Cid Inc's tour schedule and mastering service had left him less time to focus on the label. Moving forward the duo proved to be a great team, with Replug furthering itself as a premiere destination for progressive music's most sought after talent. Now in what has been a remarkable decade long journey, it seems only appropriate that Cid Inc and Orsen unite to commemorate the occasion with the aptly titled ‘Ten'.

Also returning to the label and providing the second and final interpretation of ‘Ten' is Barry Jamieson. Born and raised in England but now based in New York, the UK artist has had a hand in some of electronic music's most revered tracks. From engineering some of Sasha's career defining productions, to remixing New Order, The Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Orbital, Madonna, Seal and more, Barry has been one of the most transcendent figures in the evolution of electronic music. Having made his Replug debut in April of 2012 as Mono Electric Orchestra, Barry now returns under his own name and provides an emotive rendition of ‘Ten'. Engaging from the outset, tepid beats and meditative pulses converge for a sultry foundation, while exotic drums and astral splashes bring rhythm and texture. Building a poignant narrative, charming overlays lead into the main break, where the arp rises amidst a haze of harmonic colour, opening up for moments of reflective warmth, before a rush of drums sparks an energy bridge into an impassioned finale. A stunning interpretation from Barry, capping off what is a milestone release for Replug.

Fast forward to present day and Nick continues to collaborate with John, working on projects for Watergate, Systematic and of course Bedrock.  Having first appeared on Replug in October of 2011 with a remix of Raxon's ‘Into The Summer', Nick now makes a welcome return and provides a stunning take on ‘Ten'. Taking a cue from the original while adding a techno state of mind, the UK artist carves out a dynamic groove adorned with firing percussive, acidic lines and fresh rhythmic themes. Esoteric chord changes provide a unique emotional response, as icy pads create a bridge into the main break. Compelling and tense, the centrepiece is a sensory delight, with its dramatic flair, vibrant theme and piercing build ending in a huge crescendo and striking re-entry.

Cid Inc’s Replug Records continues a successful year by welcoming Mike Griego back to the label for a new single. The Argentinean artist and progressive music favourite highlighted 2019 with the April release of his 'Decoy' EP for the Finnish imprint. The year saw further successes with a contribution to Hernan Cattaneo's Balance Sunstrip Strip compilation, along with his well received 'Sienna' EP via Sudbeat Music. Now presenting his first original project of 2020, Mike lands back on Replug with 'Solaris' alongside a remix from Cid Inc.

In what continues to be a productive partnership, Mike delivers some of his finest work to date for Replug with 'Solaris'. Warm beats, rippling bass tones and rolling percussion set the piece in motion, as harmonic drifts and fragmented melodies encase the framework. Tranquil arps further the narrative, perfectly foreshadowing a heartfelt centrepiece highlighted by harmonic overlays and luminous tones. As the break builds, a bed of thunderous bass begins an exhilarating rise, with modulation peaking as a vocal overlay sparks a driving finale.

The Finnish artist began the year in fine style with a remix for Einmusika, before teaming up with Replug label mate Orsen for a superb rendition of DJ Zombi's 'Octopus'. Perhaps sitting as 2020's highlight however was the March release Henri's 'Citadel' EP. Also coming courtesy of Replug, the two-track offering enjoyed an extended stay in Beatport's Progressive House charts, while receiving play from Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo. Now following a remix of D-Nox & Beckers 'Bitter Rain', Cid Inc returns to Replug with a thrilling take on 'Solaris'. Electrically charged with thumping kicks and a tighter take on the groove, it’s energetic prowess beams brightly. Binding rhythmic flow with reprocessed vocals and dreamy arps makes for a sleek yet commanding first act. Colourful overlays heighten the senses as pixie-like melodies fades in and out of coherence leading into the break. Grandiose and soothing in equal measure, glowing tones highlight the centrepiece, elevating mode before getting washed away as the groove gallops towards a stirring final movement.

With ‘Solaris’ Mike Griego has added another important piece to his resume, one which gets 2020 off to a great start and continues his fruitful relationship with Cid Inc’s Replug Records.
