Now it's time to put the full spotlight on him with the release of his 'Over & Out' solo single featuring the songs 'Over & Out' and 'In Motion'. The much anticipated "Layers Of Meaning' album from Brazilian label favourite Felipe Novaes arrives on D-Nox's much loved Sprout label.

His music has graced Univack, Clubsonica, ICONYC and more, this talented DJ and producer is rising through the ranks, and with several releases under his belt for this German imprint already, the time was right for Felipe to showcase 12 gems as his new album project.

We are given a sneek peak with this album sampler, as 4 gems are sparkling brightly for you right here.

The title track 'Layers Of Meaning' oozes warmth and dreamy tinge, but is punchy and full of a smiley energy emanating from within. Big stuff!

Teaming up with Nine One for 'Scent Of A Memory', this gem picks up the pace, and brings a melodic and melancholic dramatic flavour, as this peak time club 'moment' really tugs at your heart strings. Seemingly ever building, this is a large one!

Next up we are delivered in to a 'Void' as this spacious a deep chuggy winner, packs a mean punch! hazy goodness!

Tasty electronica vibes to round off this sampler, as 'The Enlightenment' fuses deep and dramatic vibes with a pitched down, yet still dance floor friendly piece of coolness.

Nick Warren & Tripswitch collaborate and bring you the wonderful 'Savannah'. 

Nick Warren has been on the top of his game for decades  as a world class DJ and of course part of Way Out West. More recently, he has been pushing his Soundgarden events and label to notorious Global praise. 

Tripswich is famed for both his chill out sets, as well as his own clubbier vibes and his new onedotsixtwo imprint. The guys have been good friends for many years, and so was logical for them to collaborate. 

The track itself is an emotional peak time smile inducer, as waves of feel good sounds are ushered in over a crisp percussive groove. Heart warming sub bass, tinkly sounds, cool FX, infectious pads, reversed guitar like sounds and an incessant (but most welcome) two note line that gels everything together. A timeless feel, but fresh as a daisy sounding. This is big. And we love it. 

The in-demand Guy Mantzur steps up on remix duties, a man always on top of his game. His remix grans your attention from the off with its cool bassline and snare fills giving this a classic feel, while all around subtle expansion of the sounds, as they are introduced, whilst locking you under its magical spell. The tinkling tones add warmth as the build and general feel really explodes into an intense and dramatic dance floor creating chasm of goodness. 

Mariano Mellino also delivers his re-working, and we are treated to a passionate and stormy colossal slab of melodic mayhem. Fantastic sounds fix together freely and comfortably, as this pounding under-groove throbs, but all wrapped up in a warm blanket of sounds from the original, thats are very pleasing and a serious slab of dance floor goodness!

Guy J’s seminal label celebrates its 50th release with a two remixes of famed Israeli artist, Eitan Reiter. Having recently finished his second long player, Reiter has the uncanny ability to create a bewildering cross section of styles with aplomb. Featured here are Guy’s remixes of ‘All That I Know’ and ‘Fade Away’ which have been big crowd pleasers in his shows this year. 

  ‘All That I Know’ was originally released on Armadillo Records back in November 2017 as part of his second solo album, Give It Life. In original form, its wonky off-kilter rhythms and delicate sonics shape the track atmospherically. Guy takes that energy and injected his own dance floor voodoo to add some necessary late night groove.   

Also taken from the Give It Life album, ‘Fade Away’ marries deep pads, trip hops beats and influences of Shoegaze. Upping the tempo and adding a hefty dose of funk from the off, Guy brings this detailed and finespun masterpiece onto the frontlines of twenty first century clubland. Subtle and patient the pay off is in the ride.

Sound Avenue celebrates their milestone 100th release with a new single from label boss Madloch and frequent studio partner Subnode. Founded in 2011 by the Belgian DJ and producer, Sound Avenue has carefully forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. As the label has grown so too has it's ethos, blurring the boundaries between genres, now sitting in the creative space between house and techno. With recent roster additions Charles Webster, Hermanez, Nordfold & Budakid and Stelios Vassiloudis, the label has reached a unique point in its sonic evolution, one which continues on their much anticipated 100th release. Being paired since the summer of 2018, the creative synergy between Madloch & Subnode has continued to grow. Now presenting their most anticipated single to date, the Belgian duo unveil 'Lion's Mane' alongside remixes from Navar and Bookwood. 

Madloch & Subnode's affinity for redolent storyboarding has never been more evident than on 'Lion's Mane'. Backed by a hypno-groove and sultry rhythmic structures, it's a creation that flows through a myriad of free form motifs. Hugely compelling throughout, ghostly vocal fragments and astral effects converge for moments of sonic integrity, while timely synth swells and emerging atmospheres add to its mystical charm. Percussive flurries then come in waves, gently evolving across a foggy, atmospheric backdrop, before further cosmic creativities put a cap on this meditative gem.

The first interpretation of 'Lion's Mane' is provided by Navar who returns to the label for his second appearance. Through releasing material on Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Canadian behemoth microCastle, the Dutch artist emerged in 2014, firmly establishing himself in the world of deep melodic house. His unique approach to composition is highly regarded and continues to be a favourite of the world's largest DJs, including Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Always a creative remixer, Navar expands on the smooth, organic qualities of the original with a near eleven minute sonic spectacle. Possessing more of a dramatic undercurrent, it's bulbous bass tones move through moments of emotional energy, while exotic percussion and freeform harmonics create a compelling canopy of sound. Kaleidoscopic motifs continue to advance the narrative, effortlessly transferring energy into a second act which transcends time and space.

The second and final interpretation of 'Lion's Mane' is provided by Bookwood who makes his label debut here. The German artist has found a home on Magician On Duty, SOSO and URSL, where his unique take on deep house and electronica has flourished. It's this unique fusion which has made him of the deep house scenes most promising talents. Now following a well received remix for Rural Records, Bookwood steps up to Sound Avenue with a heartfelt take on 'Lion's Mane'. The vocal elements work wonders here, utilized perfectly for maximum emotional response, while a gentler, more indistinct backdrop adds mystery and intrigue across the six minute journey. A poignant piano theme sits wonderfully over a trail of soulful motifs, as a perfectly sculpted groove does just enough to command your attention but still resonates on warm and inviting frequency. A stunning interpretation from Bookwood, capping off what is a milestone release for Sound Avenue. A label never content with resting on their laurels, instead choosing to evolve and trail blaze new paths in the electronic underground.

"Following the success of his "One Side of the Underground" series, Rick Pier O'Neil now presents Vol. 3 with new original tracks plus remixes from UK and Argentinean industry icons.

An artist with a 24-carat reputation within the underground dance industry, Rick Pier O'Neil follows on from where he left off in "Vol. 2". "Travel Meet" sees a collaboration with French artist Sonov as a ticking percussive groove and grooved bassline build alongside a hypnotic arpeggio. Evolving elegantly, white-noise swirls and granular pads add to the sonic architecture alongside new melodic motifs in the second half. "Manipulation" sees O'Neil join forces with Ukrainian artist Serge Landar in a mesmerising work that revels in sustained bassline prowess. A shaker-fuelled percussive framework supplies dancefloor character and a rich array of counterpoint melodies play off each other as arpeggios and pads combine in complex stratified layers. The third original offering is a solo affair that finds O'Neil showcasing his production skills through "Fair Trade". A glorious rhythmic and bass groove provides energy throughout as trademark textured pads and white-noise swirls ripple back and forth across the stereo soundstage. Delayed analogue motifs make an appearance at the breakdown that bridges the darker bass and percussion-oriented movements either side. The result is another classy piece.

There are few more iconic names in the underground dance industry than, Nick Muir. As one half of the Bedrock duo with John Digweed and a double century of appearances on the latter's Bedrock imprint, Muir is as relevant today as he was during his legendary work in the late 90s. Also finding his name allied to the likes of Vapour Recordings, Perspectives Digital and Watergate, Muir's DJ career has seen him perform across the globe on a regular basis. Making his Proton Music debut, the Nick Muir remix of "Tribute" is a gloriously dynamic affair that takes the central bassline of the original and transforms takes it on storming journey alongside a glorious array of arps, beautifully textured pads and rich melodic motifs. The addition of a club-friendly beat and groove-laden percussion is sure to fill dancefloors the world over.
