Sweat was the label I aspired to be signed to from when I first started writing music.

Regardless of if they were releasing the biggest act in the country, or a relative newcomer, I always opened their promos with anticipation, because I knew they would be straight fire.

To join the family is an enormous honour, and I'm really proud of this record, my first offering as a member of the Sweat family. Hot Sauce, being a very fitting title.

When Catz 'n Dogz established their own label in 2010 their sole mission was to ensure it never became 'just another dance label'. A decade deep, their mission has been accomplished so far. Martin Ikin opens 2021 account on Toolroom with his latest anthem, ‘You’.

An accomplished and globally renowned name within house music, with remix credits for the likes of Joey Negro and Masters At Work through to Jamiroquai and Mariah Carey, UK DJ and producer Martin Ikin continues to remain a leading artist within the worldwide electronic music scene and a firm favourite within the #ToolroomFamily.

With the past twelve months welcoming a host of originals and remixes on Toolroom, alongside releases via the likes of Sola, Repopulate Mars, Catch & Release and elrow Music to name just a few, late-January sees Ikin pick things up right where he left off as he returns to deliver his latest single, ‘You’ – an infectious and exuberant house anthem fuelled by euphoric piano builds, soulful vocals and typically slick percussion arrangements.
