If there are boundaries yet to be broken, then you can bet that Sasha has got them in the crosshairs. He's been battering them down since Shelley's, The Hacienda, Renaissance and Twilo; from Airdrawndagger to Invol3r. Since 2011, he's carved a new way with his increasingly pivotal Last Night On Earth imprint, the label that has introduced into its family fiercely forward-thinking producers like My Favourite Robot's James Teej, Simon Baker, ThermalBear, Ejeca, Ghosting Season, Max Cooper and Knox.

Then there was the arrival of the long-awaited third album in his 'Involver' series in 2013, the intricate and challenging 'Involv3r'. It combined on one disc Sasha's peerless command of dancefloor sensibilities and on the other his skilful exploration of beatless soundscapes, featuring his exclusive interpretations of tracks from The xx, Blondes, Little Dragon, Benjamin Damage, Foals and ThermalBear. It also featured 'Shoot You Down', his own spine-chilling anthem with vocals from the beguiling Swedish chanteuse Kicki Halmos.

Boundaries out of the studio have been equally unsafe. His Never Say Never parties at Ibiza's breakthrough success of recent years, Ushuaia, have seen him bring together the venerable. Last summer, for 13 weeks, he held court on Sundays at Ushuaia’s Tower, supported by the likes of Cassy, Guti, Butch and many more. The fact that these parties were free was pretty much unprecedented on the island, harking back to old school raving, when all that mattered was the music. But then, that's really all that's ever mattered to Sasha.

His most recent sell-out event and his first NYE show in UK’s capital in over a decade, was the Last Night on Earth celebration at London’s O2 Brixton Academy. The event was supported by world-renown dance music names such as Guy Gerber, Nic Fanciulli and Ellen Allien. At the moment Sasha is back in the studio working hard – so we can expect to hear a continuation of the musical journey this year.

In 2001, Zimbabwe born Adam Metcalfe moved to Cape Town, South Africa & fell in love with Psy Trance. By 2004 he had began to produce & perfect his sound, striving for the best quality production in high tech trance, keeping it fun, psychedelic & a little bit twisted. With the release of his 2008 album, “Artelligent”, his unique offbeat & forward- thinking sound captivated festivals and parties worldwide, sparking a non-stop whirlwind of international gigging. Today he has solidified himself as one of South Africa’s most prolific EDM producers, ranking 5th in DJ MAG’s 2012 Top SA DJ’s. 2014 sees Headroom locked away in his studio, working on his highly anticipated 2nd album.

Not forgetting "Falafel" (with Skazi) who made it as a theme song in the Israeli Music Channel (24) series "Skazi TV". Freedom Fighters

Omsphere (Jay OM / Journey / Sonic Wave Control) is the progressive solo project of, Milan born but now London based, Giampiero 'Jay' Mastino, label manager of Free-Spirit Records.

Jay forged his earliest psychedelic-rock influences playing guitar in local bars in Milan. His romance with the decks began in the late 80's whilst working for a local radio station where he was given the opportunity to spin his first record. This love firmly in place the move to London followed in 1998. Soon thereafter in 1999 he started djing professionally as Jay OM and in 2003 he studied Sound Engineering and Music Technology and began a solo production project under the name Journey and another collaborative project called Star~Trip. In 2009 he started producing progressive under the name Omsphere.

In 2004, Jay conceived the vision of a network of like-minded artists in the psy-trance, progressive and ambient genres, all working to promote themselves and each other under one banner. Thus the Free-Spirit label was born... originally intended to focus on artist management, the label's skyrocketing success combined with the enthusiasm of Jay, the artists and fans enabled Free-Spirit to outgrow its horizons.

Jay released his debut solo Omsphere EP, Earthling, in November 2010 followed by a collaborative EP with Solar Spectrum, The Earthlings, in May 2011. He has also released tracks on several other international labels and also has numerous releases under his other projects. Jay has been rocking the crowds at many of the biggest venues internationally as well as outdoor parties and festivals in the UK, Europe, Brazil and South Africa under his various projects including Boom Festival, Universo Paralello, Origin Festival, Fora do Tempo Festival, Aurora Festival, Vortex Festival, Boomerang Festival, Psionic Visions Festival, Sonica Festival, Samsara Festival, Life Celebration Festival and many more...

Jay also produces progressive under the name Omsphere, has a further psychedelic collaborative project with Ralph K (Braincell/Solar Spectrum/Rastaliens) called Crocodile Rangers and in January 2012 formed a progressive tribal trance project called Sonic Wave Control. HIs debut album, Sixth Sense, was released on Free-Spirit Records in April 2012.

Today, Jay's reputation as an active, involved and hard-working individual in the global trance circuit precedes him. His commitment and enthusiasm for trance music has left an indelible impression on the world scene already and Jay's future has never looked brighter, from his burgeoningly successful record label to his organized events to his upcoming solo releases. Jay works tirelessly at his art and trade and the music he brings to the masses exemplifies the fruits of his labour and energy.

Born out of a shared vision of musical inspiration, the duo of D-Nox & Beckers has, over the last 7 years, firmly entrenched itself into the landscape of the worldwide electronic community. Working as a perfect fusion of studio expertise and an impeccable dancefloor touch, this creative combination of Christian “D-Nox” Wedekind and Frank Beckers has become a an unfailing source of massive grooves which have successfully infected (infiltrated?) all corners of the globe. With more than a quarter century of combined DJing and producing experience between them, D-Nox & Beckers effectively merge a seasoned musical grounding with a dynamic creative spark that never fails in its ability to adapt to the ever-changing vista of electronic dance music.

Prior to the beginning of their collaborative work, both D-Nox and Frank Beckers were each well established in the electronic music scene, with a multitude of success both as DJs and in the studio. D-Nox began his career in Germany’s vibrant techno scene in the early-90s, and quickly became a fixture in clubs across the country. An aptitude for enveloping and captivating dancefloors with his incomparable style saw his booking diary expand to a global scale, while his increasingly frequent forays into the studio brought a number of releases as well as the birth of his own successful imprint, Sprout Music. With training as a musician from childhood, Frank Beckers compositional gift has always been evident. A string of full-length album and single releases under a variety of guises developed a sound steeped in detailed rhythms and savvy harmonies, as well as keeping Frank’s services as an actively-touring DJ in high demand.

In the time since their debut release saw the light of day in late-2004, the emergence of D-Nox & Beckers has been nothing short of astounding. Their numerous releases on a variety of top labels along with constant remix requests for artists such as Minilogue, Lützenkirchen, Nick Muir, Tocadisco and many others have become ubiquitous on worldwide dancefloors, with their works appearing in the cases and playlists of countless top DJs. Their 2007 album Left Behind on Electribe was met with acclaim and led to a heavy worldwide touring schedule with constant appearances in thriving musical centers in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Australia and across the globe. The first half of 2008 has only seen this duo gaining further momentum with the release the highly-received mixed CD City Lights, recognition as one of the top artists in Beatport’s Music Awards, a first appearance for D-Nox in DJMag’s top 250 DJs and being signed to Marc Romboy’s legendary Systematic Recordings.
2010 they have won the DJ Award in the category “best progressive house artist”
In Spring 2011 D-Nox & Beckers will open the next chapter with the release of their 2nd studio album on Christian Smith´ well respected label “Tronic Music” !

Rather than following the current trends, D-Nox & Beckers have placed themselves squarely at the forefront of the evolution of electronic dance music. Slickly drawing from the best elements of a variety of musical genres, this duo is undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to emerge in recent years. Whether as a DJ mesmerized by their latest release or a dancer caught in the wake of their music pulsating through the speakers, the future will see countless listeners continue thrilled and spellbound by their works.
