Cybersex are an Amsterdam based duo in constant pursuit of the purest form of groove and rhythm. Elements of dub, house, and techno flow through their sound—but not at the tempo you’re used to. Playing at a fast pace, they reshape tracks beyond recognition, weaving in glitchy synthesisers, modulators, and an array of drum machines. At the heart of it all is their ongoing evolution, always searching for new rhythms and fresh energy.

This set was recorded in their studio in Haarlem, starting at a lower BPM than usual to ease into the groove. Highlights include the slow yet sexy transition at 13:20–13:50, a standout vocal and rhythm section at 26:20–26:45, and South American-inspired grooves at 38:15–38:55. As the energy builds, 57:05–57:35 brings a loopy, housy rhythm, while 1:16:00–1:16:20 delivers dreamy vocals layered over hypnotic loops. Enjoy the ride!

Chicago-based duo @hotpretty.fm can frequently be found behind the decks of the formidable Smartbar, a house music institution in the genre’s hometown since 1982. As prolific producers, their discography spans labels including Semi Delicious, Neptune Discs, Ritmo Fatale, Sound As, and more.

United by a common love for trippy and proggy aesthetics they subtly mix their various influences, meanwhile…FM 010 serves as a showcase of their sound. A focused, gradual crescendo culminates in an ethereal energy over the course of an hour.
