Matt 'Hobbs' Hobin, known professionally as Hobbs (UK), is a dynamic DJ and producer hailing from Manchester. With a music career spanning several decades, Hobbs has electrified audiences across the UK and Europe with his distinctive fusion of Disco and House, seamlessly blending melodic and tribal elements to craft an unparalleled auditory experience.

Transitioning naturally from the DJ booth to the studio, Hobbs has achieved significant acclaim with releases on esteemed labels such as Reptile Dysfunction, Whartone Records, Purple Music, Blacksoul, Black Rock, and In the Loop. His innovative sound has garnered widespread support on both national and international radio platforms, earning accolades from industry luminaries including Roger Sanchez, D Ramirez, Claptone, Sonny Wharton, Danny Howard, Mistajam, Charlie T, and Melvo Baptiste.

Beyond his production prowess, Hobbs serves as the co-owner and Label Manager for Doorly's Reptile Dysfunction imprint and oversees multiple labels under Data Transmission, including 63b (Deep Tech), dt weapons, and Disco Infiltrators. His extensive industry experience encompasses artist management, contributing to the success of talents such as Leeroy Thornhill, Bez (Happy Mondays), Dub Pistols, and Barry Ashworth.
